Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz was back on the practice field as a full participant during Thursday's session. The veteran tight end missed Wednesday's practice for rest purposes, but is back to being a full participant now. Fellow tight end Ben Sinnott (illness) also missed Wednesday's practice, but joined Ertz for a full session on Thursday. Both tight ends figure to have a full workload during Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. Ertz is coming off a game where he hauled in six of his seven targets for 47 yards and a touchdown during last week's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He has been quiet for a few weeks before that game, but hopefully that is a sign of good things to come for the veteran tight end.
Washington Commanders tight end Ben Sinnott (illness) was a full participant during Thursday's practice. This is good news after Sinnott was a limited participant on Wednesday due to a minor illness. The fact that he's back to being full in practice means he should be good to go for the Week 12 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Sinnott has one reception for 12 yards over his last four games. The Commanders selected Sinnott in the second-round of this year's draft, but the 22-year-old hasn't seen a significant role in the passing game this season. Fantasy managers should hold Sinnott in dynasty formats, but there's little reason to roster him otherwise.
Washington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert (hip) continued to practice in a limited capacity on Thursday. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status on Friday as it will likely clarify his availability heading into a divisional tilt against the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday. Seibert has been sidelined with this injury over the past two games. In his absence, Zane Gonzalez has taken starting duties. Before the injury, Seibert was enjoying a breakout campaign in the DMV. Since joining the Commanders in Week 2, Seibert has carried a stellar 92.6% rate on attempts and has gone perfect on extra points. If Seibert can return to action this weekend, fantasy managers should view him as a high-end kicking option facing a struggling Dallas defense.
Washington Commanders tight end Ben Sinnott (illness) was a limited participant in their first practice of Week 12. The 22-year-old has been active for every game this season, and while he isn't in danger of missing his first contest just yet, we'll see if he can improve his practice status leading up to the Commanders' home matchup against their division-rival Dallas Cowboys this Sunday. Fellow tight end Zach Ertz (NIR) was tagged with a DNP, but it's apparently just a day of rest for the veteran. The rookie has seen his snap share dwindle over the previous few weeks, logging his lowest total of the season in last weekend's 26-18 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles (9%). Still, he's reeled in all three of his targets in 2024 for 18 yards and a touchdown. If Sinnott can't play, Ertz and John Bates will pick up the slack as the only other active tight ends on the roster.
Washington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert (hip) is working at practice with the team on Wednesday after missing the last two games with a right-hip injury. It's good news and means that barring a setback for Seibert in practice this week, he could return as the team's primary kicker in Week 12 in a great matchup against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys. Zane Gonzalez has done a good job replacing Seibert the last two games, but Washington will most likely go back to Seibert when he's ready. The 28-year-old booter has made 25 of his 27 field-goal attempts in eight games for the Commanders in his first year with the team and has also made all 22 of his extra-point tries. On the year, Dallas has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing kickers, so if Seibert is ready to return, he should be considered for streaming purposes. UPDATE:Seibert was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
