Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White put together his best performance on the ground during Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Lead back Bucky Irving (back) exited early and didn't return to this contest. His absence gave White a chance for extra carries and he took advantage of it. White rushed 17 times for 90 yards and scored a touchdown in the win. This is now back-to-back weeks that White has put together strong games on the ground. It's also worth noting that White hauled in two of his three targets through the air for 19 yards and another score. His production through the air has taken a hit since Mike Evans return, but fantasy managers will take the extra score. The status of Irving will go a long way to determining the fantasy value of White for next week's matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. If Irving returns, White will fall into flex territory otherwise he should be treated as a RB2 if Irving sits in Week 15.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield made some mistakes but ultimately prevailed during Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Mayfield completed 18-of-29 passing attempts for 295 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in the win. It was a hot start for Mayfield who capped off the first two drives with touchdowns. After that, Mayfield got sacked four times and threw a pair of interceptions in the first half. It wasn't the prettiest outing for Mayfield, but he was still able to give fantasy managers quality production. It's going to get tougher for Mayfield next week against a Los Angeles Chargers defense. Mayfield should remain a QB1 but on the lower end.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (back) is now doubtful to return against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 14. Irving exited early in the second quarter and was initially listed as questionable, but the Buccaneers revised his status and downgraded him to doubtful at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Assuming his day is done, Irving will finish Sunday's contest with four carries for three rushing yards, plus a 15-yard reception. Rachaad White will lead Tampa Bay's backfield for the duration of Irving's absence. The Buccaneers return to action next Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (back) has been tagged as questionable to return Sunday after leaving the game with a back injury. He was uncertain to play in this game in the first place due to hip and back issues but was named active ahead of kickoff. Unfortunately, the back issue was aggravated in this case. If he's unable to return, he'll finish with four carries for three yards and one catch for 15 yards while Rachaad White should see a bigger snap share.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Trey Palmer (hip), who was listed as questionable on the final Week 14 injury report, is officially active on Sunday to take on the visiting Las Vegas Raiders. Palmer popped up on this week's injury report with a hip ailment and was limited in practice on both Thursday and Friday, but he'll be out there this weekend in a depth role for the Bucs again. The matchup against the two-win Raiders is an enticing one, but we still wouldn't suggest the 23-year-old in starting fantasy lineups because of his lack of involvement in Tampa's offense this year, even after Chris Godwin's (ankle) season-ending injury. The second-year pass-catcher hasn't exceeded three catches for 33 yards in a game this year and has a total of just 10 receptions (18 targets) for 141 yards and one touchdown in 10 games. Palmer remains the WR4 behind Mike Evans, Sterling Shepard and rookie Jalen McMillan.
