Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers has been Lamar Jackson's favorite target of the season through two games, and that's not likely to change any time soon. The offensive game plan has manufactured plenty of touches for Flowers, but there haven't been many big plays just yet. He scored his first touchdown against the Raiders in Week 2 and has received 21 targets thus far. In this Week 3 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, however, he'll go up against a tougher defensive unit with some capable defensive backs. Right now, the Cowboys are on the stingier side when it comes to fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers as they come in at 18th. With the run game hurting the Cowboys the most, the Ravens may move to more of a ground game if they aren't too far behind, which would leave Flowers around the WR2/flex area in half-PPR formats.

Flowers will likely find more space to operate as the season progresses, but it remains to be seen if there will be more play calls to send him further down the field.

While he'll get plenty of opportunities in this revenge game against the Chiefs on Thursday, look for Flowers to be more of a low-end WR2 against a pass defense that remains to be seen after the loss of L'Jarius Sneed.

On Thursday, the NFL announced there was insufficient evidence that Flowers engaged in any activity that violated the league's personal conduct policy. That said, there will be no action taken by the NFL, and Flowers is free to participate in all team activities. The 23-year-old is on track to contribute in 2024 after a 77-catch, 858-yard, five-touchdown rookie campaign. Although he did a lot of his damage with Mark Andrews (ankle) out of action, the former Boston College star has plenty of ability and should push to compile WR2 numbers in his sophomore campaign.
