Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby (ankle) is officially active for the Week 9 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. His fellow running mate, Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring), is also active so the two of them should return to a timeshare in this game. With that being said, it could be a tough fantasy week for the backfield against an Eagles defense that allows the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing backfields.
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby (ankle) plans to play on Sunday versus the Eagles. He was limited in practice throughout the week, resulting in a questionable designation for the meeting with Philadelphia. However, barring a setback, he should be good to go. The 22-year-old has played better than expected during the 2024-25 campaign, totaling 493 yards and four touchdowns off 85 carries. While that kind of production already earns him a spot in fantasy lineups, he may be more impactful if Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) is ruled out.
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of the Week 9 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Bigsby has been limited in practice all week due to a lingering ankle issue. Fellow back Travis Etienne Jr. (hamstring) has been limited in practice as well, but is hopeful to get back on the field this week. If that happens, Bigsby and Etienne would likely split up the workload in the backfield. If one back sits out then the other would see increased snaps and become a viable RB2 for this weekend. Bigsby has done well enough lately that the return of Etienne won't completely destroy his fantasy value.
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby had a solid fantasy day in a 30-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers. The second-year running back finished with 78 yards rushing on 18 carries and eight receiving yards on two receptions. With Travis Etienne Jr. out, Bigsby dominated touches once again. In fact, backup running back D'Ernest Johnson touched the ball just two times. Bigsby wasn't as efficient as he has been, producing 4.3 yards per carry, but the volume he got was enough to provide a solid fantasy output despite no touchdowns. This has been a bit of a breakout year for the young back out of Auburn, who whether Etienne Jr. has been in the lineup or not, has been a startable fantasy running back. Bigsby and the Jaguars take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9.
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby may have the opportunity to dominate touches again in Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers defense has been great against the pass, but somewhat weak against the run, meaning as long as Travis Etienne Jr. (a game-time decision with a hamstring injury) misses out again, Bigsby has a chance for a big day. Even if Etienne Jr. does return this week, Bigsby is a playable option in fantasy lineups given his ability to produce even with limited touches. Bigsby has put up 90 yards or more in three of his last four games, with last week being his first game with over a 50 percent snap share. Given his big-play ability and decent matchup, Bigsby should be viewed as an RB2 with RB1 upside with no Etienne Jr., otherwise, he should be viewed as a high-upside flex option.
