Toney was limited in practice last week but did not play in the wild-card victory over the Miami Dolphins. The 24-year-old has not been active since Week 15, so even if he's able to return to face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in the Divisional Round, it's likely that he won't see much time on the field as a legitimate offensive threat for the Chiefs. Ross injured his hamstring in the Week 18 regular season finale and was also inactive this past Saturday night. Even more so than Toney, Ross will be off the DFS radar if he's active against Buffalo. The 24-year-old pass-catcher only had six receptions for 53 yards during the regular season.

The Dolphins have been absolutely decimated by injuries on the defensive side of the ball in recent weeks, which is good news for a Chiefs offense that was rather mediocre during the regular season. Still, even if the 24-year-old Toney is active this weekend, he'll be a boom/bust DFS option with limited upside. In his first full year with KC, Toney had just 27 catches for 169 yards and one touchdown on 38 targets.

Even if he returns for wild-card weekend in a plus matchup against the banged-up Dolphins defense, DFS gamers should be able to find more reliable low-cost options for their lineups. Ross wasn't a fantasy name to begin with, but he might not be able to play this Saturday after hurting his hamstring in the Week 18 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
