Free-agent wide receiver Josh Reynolds is visiting with the Baltimore Ravens on Friday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The 29-year-old had one of the best seasons of his career last year with the Detroit Lions, racking up 40 receptions for 608 yards and five touchdowns. Reynolds was originally a fourth-round pick by the Los Angeles Rams in 2017, and outside of five games with the Tennessee Titans in 2021, he has spent his entire career with quarterback Jared Goff. Overall, the Texas A&M product has 220 receptions for 2,933 yards and 19 touchdowns through his first 107 NFL games. The Ravens are looking to upgrade from what Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman gave them at wideout last year, so Reynolds makes sense as a potential WR2 or WR3 for Lamar Jackson.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds caught just one of his four targets for 25 yards in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. The 28-year-old had a crucial drop of fourth down after quarterback Jared Goff evaded the rush of Nick Bosa, and he failed to secure a third-down reception later in the game. Ultimately, it was an unfortunate time for Reynolds to struggle, as converting either of those opportunities into first downs could've meant the difference between winning and losing. Reynolds' 2024 fantasy football outlook is dependent on what Detroit does at the wide receiver spot this offseason.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (ribs) was removed from the injury report on Friday, meaning he's good to go for the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers. Reynolds was a limited participant during Wednesday and Thursday's practice with a rib injury, but it turned out to be minor. The 28-year-old has been a key contributor so far in the postseason, catching seven of his 10 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown. Kalif Raymond (knee) will not play on Sunday, so Reynolds should continue to be heavily involved in the matchup with the 49ers, who have been a neutral defense against fantasy wide receivers to this point.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (ribs) was a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, and he remained limited during the team's Thursday practice. The 28-year-old was not knocked out of last week's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so he's likely dealing with soreness or a minor ding-up. Reynolds has saved his best performances for the postseason, snagging seven passes for 107 yards and a touchdown in the team's Wild Card and Divisional Round wins. Kalif Raymond (knee) remains out of practice, so Reynolds should remain the clear No. 2 wide receiver behind Amon-Ra St. Brown for Sunday's NFC Championship Game.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds (ribs) is on the injury report this week and was listed as limited in the team's practice on Wednesday. Reynolds' injury probably isn't serious, but it's something worth watching, especially since Kalif Raymond (knee) is trending toward missing a third straight game after injuring his knee in the Week 18 regular season finale. The 28-year-old Reynolds has been serving as the No. 2 wideout behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. Reynolds hasn't missed a game this year and should play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship. He's mostly given fantasy managers some very modest numbers, but he did find his way into the end zone for the sixth time this season in the Divisional Round win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Reynolds will be a cheap DFS flier this weekend with a low ceiling and floor against a tough Niners defense.
