Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (knee) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Jeudy has been relatively banged up throughout the preseason and training camp but appears to be full healthy heading into Week 1. Jeudy is looking for a fresh start in Cleveland after spending his first four seasons with the Denver Broncos. Jeudy has flashed potential at times during his career but has never put it all together for a full season. Jeudy will look to make a name for himself starting this week against the Dallas Cowboys. If Jeudy can build on the 758 receiving yards and two touchdowns he recorded in 2023, then he may yet be an occasional fantasy contributor.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (undisclosed) was not participating in team drills at practice on Monday. Jeudy was acquired by the Browns in March and signed a three-year $58 million contract extension. Jeudy projects to be the Browns' No. 2 wide receiver behind Amari Cooper. With David Njoku also in the fold for targets, Jeudy could wind up as the third target on the team. With Deshaun Watson struggling over the past couple of seasons, the fantasy value of Jeudy is unknown. Jeudy finished 2023 with 758 receiving yards and two touchdowns. It was a down season for the former first-round pick who seemed to be ascending after a career year with the Denver Broncos in 2022. Ultimately, the Broncos grew tired of waiting for the breakout and shipped Jeudy to Cleveland. Jeudy is an afterthought in fantasy drafts at the moment. If he can recapture any of his 2022 magic then he will be an excellent value in 2024.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (leg) did not suit up for Thursday's practice session. Jeudy made a return on Sunday, but was downgraded to individual drills on Monday. Now, Jeudy is watching from the sidelines with a wrap around his leg. The fifth-year wideout is not expected to play in the preseason opener. The Browns are going to be cautious with the oft-injured receiver especially in camp. When healthy, Jeudy should be the No. 2 wideout on the roster behind Amari Cooper.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy returned to practice on Sunday after being limited with a knee injury over the last week or so. He has been participating in individual drills and workouts since Friday. Jeudy was brought in via trade to be the complement to Amari Cooper. Last year, Cooper was far and away the top target out of all of the receivers and the next best pass-catcher was tight end David Njoku. Jeudy hauled in 54 receptions for 758 yards and two touchdowns in a lackluster offense on the Denver Broncos last season. There's still some chemistry to build with Deshaun Watson, but Jeudy is being drafted in the later rounds of re-draft leagues right now.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (knee) was limited in practice on Friday due to a knee injury. He participated in individual drills with the team for the first time this summer. Although Jeudy has been dealing with a leg issue, he wasn't on any injury report, so he didn't require formal activation to take the field. Jeudy signed a three-year, $52.5 million contract extension with the Browns after being acquired in a trade from the Broncos this offseason. In exchange, the Browns sent a 2024 fifth-round pick (from the Panthers via the Baker Mayfield trade) and a 2024 sixth-round pick (from Houston via the Deshaun Watson trade) to Denver. Jeudy should have the opportunity to surpass the 54 receptions, 758 yards, and two touchdowns he recorded in 16 regular-season games with the Broncos last season once he's fully healthy. As a former first-round pick out of Alabama, Jeudy has the potential to be a key player on your fantasy roster, but his performance on the field has yet to match his pedigree. Despite the Browns' significant investment in him, his role in a crowded receiving corps makes this season unlikely to be a breakout year.
