Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore caught six of his eight targets for 44 yards in an 18-13 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. Moore wound up tying for first on the team with Amari Cooper with his eight targets while finishing second on the team in receiving yards. Although he only has 53 receiving yards to show for it, Moore has been heavily targeted through the first two games of the season with 14 over that span. He will be a low-end flex in Week 3 when the Browns take on the New York Giants.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore caught three of his six targets for nine yards in a 33-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1. Moore barely made a dent in the yardage department but his six targets were good for the fourth-most on the team. Unfortunately his lack of downfield usage issue continued over from the 2023 season as the Browns have tended to keep him close to the line of scrimmage since he joined them before last season. Moore also has to contend with newcomer Jerry Jeudy, who finished second on the team with eight targets. Moore does not need to be rostered in redraft leagues moving forward as his ceiling won't be very high as the No. 4 option in the offense.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore caught one of his two targets for seven yards and added a one-yard rush in his team's 37-33 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in preseason action on Saturday. Moore got the start and played with the first team in what was his first taste of preseason action. With both Amari Cooper and Jerry Jeudy inactive, Moore operated as the team's top receiver for the first two drives of the game before calling it a night. The addition of Jeudy to the Cleveland offense will cut into Moore's production this season, making it tough to roster him in redraft formats.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (concussion) was back in team drills on Tuesday. Moore suffered the injury during the Browns' final training camp practice. Moore recorded 59 receptions for 649 yards and two touchdowns with the Browns in 2023. He is currently listed as the No. 3 wide receiver on the Browns' depth chart. With the Browns reportedly engaged in trade talks for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, it remains to be seen where Moore will fall on the Browns' final depth chart. The former New York Jet is likely the fourth option on a Browns team, including David Njoku. For now, Moore should be considered a depth piece in fantasy in deeper leagues.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore (head) hasn't yet been confirmed to sustain a concussion but has entered the protocol. Head coach Kevin Stefanski would not confirm the concussion part but told reporters that Moore was working through the protocol on Sunday. Entering his fourth season in the league, Moore is competing against newly added Jerry Jeudy, Cedric Tillman, and David Bell for snaps and targets. Amari Cooper remains the number-one receiver, so Moore's workload could be thinner than it was last season when he posted 59 receptions for 640 yards and two scores. As of right now, he's the 85th-ranked receiver in Rotoabller's half-PPR draft rankings.
