Amidst some talk about a trade and/or a contract extension, Tennessee Titans veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins sounds like he wants to stay with the Titans in 2024 and beyond. "I take it day by day. I love Tennessee. I love what Miss Amy's doing. This is the happiest I've been with any organization. I'll let that speak for itself," Hopkins said. The five-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro wideout recorded the seventh 1,000-yard season of his career in 2023 in his first year in Tennessee and also recorded seven touchdowns in 17 games. The 32-year-old veteran wasn't as productive deep down the field for the Titans last year, though, and the addition of wideout Calvin Ridley is going to take valuable aerial targets away. This should be a pass-happy offense under new head coach Brian Callahan, but Hopkins' fantasy stock is down entering 2024, and managers should consider him as more of a WR3/4.

It remains to be seen if the Titans will try to extend Hopkins before the start of the 2024 season. It's not an easy decision for a 32-year-old wideout. If the Titans don't give him an extension, they could lose Hopkins just as he and Levis and this Brian Callahan offense starts to click. The Titans should throw more this year, but Hopkins' age, Levis' inexperience and the addition of Calvin Ridley are all reasons to doubt whether he can have another productive season in 2024.

Hopkins notably earned a $500,000 bonus for reaching 75 receptions on Sunday. He also secured a $1 million bonus for reaching 1,050 receiving yards. It was a great day for the veteran, and his season will come to a close with a total of 75 catches for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns. Assuming he's in Tennessee next year, he'll continue to operate as the clear No. 1 wide receiver -- presumably for quarterback Will Levis.

The veteran will earn $250,000 each for reaching 75 receptions (he has 68), 1,050 Yards (he has 1,011), and eight touchdowns (he has six). With $750,000 on the line, he should be expected to play a full complement of snaps and aim for a nuclear performance to close out the 2023 season. The Jacksonville Jaguars have allowed the 11th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this year, so he'll have that chance. However, his ceiling is lower if Ryan Tannehill starts in place of an injured Will Levis (foot). Consider Hopkins a boom-or-bust option for Sunday's AFC South contest.
