New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton was present for Tuesday's OTAs. The wideout is coming off the best year of his career, catching 50 of his 79 targets for 770 yards and four touchdowns. As a result, he wants a new deal. While there's still time for both sides to work things out, there's also room for the situation to go in the wrong direction, especially as the offseason inches closer to training camp. Nonetheless, the 27-year-old wasn't a reliable fantasy producer throughout the 2023-24 campaign despite his increase in production. That isn't expected to change, considering the Giants added Malik Nabers out of LSU. The team also still has Daniel Jones (knee) under center, who hasn't been the most consistent fantasy signal-caller over the years.

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot) is working off the field at OTAs as he works his way back from a foot injury, but head coach Sean Payton said he expects him to be ready for training camp later this summer. After a decent showing as a rookie in 2022, Dulcich was limited to just two games in 2023 and hauled in just three passes for 25 yards. He will likely compete with veteran tight end Adam Trautman for the lead tight end duties this offseason, but neither player figures to have much upside with rookie quarterback Bo Nix under center. That said, Dulcich remains an intriguing dynasty-league stash based on his strong prospect profile and small glimpse of upside in his debut season.

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that wide receiver Darius Slayton, who wants a new contract, hasn't been attending voluntary organized team activities this week. There has been no word on when Slayton is expected to rejoin the team. As long as Slayton doesn't stage a lengthy and damaging holdout this summer, the 27-year-old is likely to remain a starter in 2024, even after the club selected Malik Nabers sixth overall in the first round of this year's NFL draft. Slayton is entering the final year of his two-year contract and is seeking an extension. Even though he's likely to remain a starter, he's going to lose valuable targets to Nabers and last year's third-round pick, Jalin Hyatt. And it's not like Daniel Jones at quarterback gives fantasy managers tons of confidence. Slayton had a career-high 770 yards and four touchdowns on 50 receptions in 17 games (13 starts) last year.

The New York Giants signed No. 6 overall pick, wide receiver Malik Nabers, to his rookie deal on Friday. The deal is a four-year, $29,207,750 fully guaranteed deal that includes an $18,062,000 signing bonus and a fifth-year team option. The Giants passed on adding competition for quarterback Daniel Jones in this year's NFL draft and instead gave Jones big-time receiving help with perhaps the most explosive and athletic wideout in this year's strong class of receivers. The 20-year-old from LSU will immediately slot in as New York's No. 1 pass-catcher in 2024. He was wildly productive for the Tigers and should be heavily targeted as he transitions to the NFL, but he won't turn 21 until later this summer and could struggle for consistency if Jones continues to struggle as a passer. Fantasy managers in single-year leagues shouldn't be relying too heavily on Nabers in his rookie season in a Giants offense that has had its share of problems with Jones leading them.

Most of the beat writers for the New York Giants would be surprised if first-round rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers isn't the team's most targeted player right away in 2024, but Wan'Dale Robinson should give him a good race. A fully healthy Robinson should push for the team lead in targets, but it's obvious that Nabers, the sixth overall pick in this year's NFL draft, has much more fantasy upside, both in the short and long term. The Giants are going to need playmakers like Nabers and Robinson to step now that running back Saquon Barkley is no longer in town. The 23-year-old Robinson, who was a second-rounder in 2022, suffered an ACL tear in his rookie year before catching 60 of 78 targets for 525 yards and a touchdown in 15 games (eight starts) last year. There's potential for a Robinson to take a big step forward in 2024, but it will also depend on quarterback Daniel Jones' (knee) health.
