Jaylen Waddle Not Expected To Play In Week 18

According to NFL Media's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (ankle) is unlikely to play in Sunday night's encounter with the Buffalo Bills. The wideout has battled a high-ankle sprain since the Week 16 meeting with the Dallas Cowboys. He didn't suit up for the blowout loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17, opening the door for Cedrick Wilson Jr. to score his third touchdown of the campaign. Of course, Tyreek Hill (ankle), who was removed from the injury report, should remain the top option for Tua Tagovailoa, considering he drew 12 targets in Week 17. But there's also room for Durham Smythe to see a few extra looks from his signal-caller, with De'Von Achane also anticipated to get more targets out of the backfield.

Jason Sanders A Mid-Level Play In Week 18

Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders wasn't able to continue his super hot streak in Week 17 but was able to deliver on a couple of field goals. He made two of them within 39 yards and made his only extra-point attempt of the night against the Baltimore Ravens. He'll welcome the Buffalo Bills into Miami in Week 18 for a game that decides who takes home the number-two seed in the AFC. The last time they played, in Week 4, Sanders only saw two extra points and didn't get to attempt a single field goal. The offense turned in one of their worst performances which shouldn't happen twice to the same team while playing at home. Sanders will likely get plenty of field goal work to make sure they put points on the board and get some home field advantage for the playoffs.

Tyler Huntley Throws One Touchdown In Week 18 Loss

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley filled in for Lamar Jackson in a game that ultimately didn't mean much for the playoffs. In the crazy wind and rain, Huntley completed 15 of his 28 throws for 146 yards and a touchdown. He also added eight carries for 40 yards but didn't score on the ground. This was an ugly game for both offenses as they both went to the ground game more often throughout the first three quarters. While Huntley didn't produce any turnovers, he also wasn't able to contribute all that much to what amounted to a loss. The Ravens played a lot of their backups, especially in the second half, so this was an uphill battle from the start.

Tyreek Hill Belongs In All Lineups In Week 18

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill may not have as high of a chance to achieve 2000 receiving yards anymore, but he remains one of the best fantasy assets in the NFL. The superstar wideout posted 1717 yards and 12 touchdowns while catching 112 balls out of 158 targets. No matter the defense, Hill can produce solid fantasy stat lines. He's finished as a WR1 in over half of the games he's played in. For the season finale, the Dolphins take on the Buffalo Bills to see who gets the second seed in the AFC. The last time Hill played the Bills in Week 4, he had three receptions for 58 yards and one carry for 14 yards. This time around, Tua Tagovailoa is bound to rely a bit heavier on Hill, especially with Jaylen Waddle (ankle) still not at 100% healthy. Which means, Hill should remain in all lineups regardless of format.

De'Von Achane Is A Solid RB2 In Week 18

Miami Dolphins running back De'Von Achane found pay dirt again in Week 17 and got back to his big yardage totals for the first time since Week 13. His efforts on the ground were the main reason that the Dolphins didn't get blown out by even more against the Baltimore Ravens. Now, in a final regular season game that carries a bunch of playoff implications, Achane could be the number-one back again if Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle) has to miss a second consecutive game. If Mostert gets downgraded, Achane's value increases to more of a RB1, but he remains at an RB2 level until that officially gets announced. Buffalo ranks right in the middle of the pack against the run this season, so there are ways to beat them on the ground.
