Travis Kelce Stays Limited In Practice

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (neck) was limited in practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week. Kelce's injury isn't too serious, but there's a good chance the Chiefs will rest him or hold him out entirely in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs are locked into the No. 3 seed in the AFC for the playoffs and have already announced that quarterback Patrick Mahomes won't play at all. The 34-year-old Kelce has battled through nagging injuries this year and could probably use some rest heading into the playoffs, so we recommend avoiding the tight end in DFS lineups. Noah Gray (ribs) and Blake Bell (finger), who have been practicing in full this week, should see a lot more run with quarterback Blaine Gabbert running the offense against LA.

Isiah Pacheco Returns To Practice Thursday

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (quadriceps, shoulder) was back on the practice field on Thursday and put in a limited session after he was a non-participant on Wednesday. Pacheco's injuries don't appear to be too serious, however, he'll be a candidate to be rested in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers with the Chiefs having already locked up the No. 3 seed in the AFC. The 24-year-old could sit entirely this weekend or only play a limited number of snaps, making him a very risky DFS play and single-season lineup option. Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) appears ready to return from an illness that sidelined him last weekend, so he, La'Mical Perine and Keaontay Ingram could get more work against the Bolts if Pacheco is rested.

Kadarius Toney, Rashee Rice Not Practicing Thursday

Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers Kadarius Toney (hip) and Rashee Rice (hamstring) will not take part in the team's practice on Thursday. Toney returned to a limited practice on Wednesday, while Rice has now missed the first two practices of the week. With the Chiefs locked into the No. 3 seed in the AFC for the playoffs, they have already announced that they are resting star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and they could rest more players, especially injured ones like Toney and Rice. The 23-year-old Rice got off to a slow start in his first NFL season but has come on strong and has been a must-start fantasy wideout in the second half of the season. If he doesn't play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers, Rice will end up with 79 receptions for 938 yards and seven touchdowns. Receivers Justin Watson and Marquez Valdes-Scantling and others could be in line for big workloads if Rice and Toney are held out.

Travis Kelce On The Week 18 Injury Report

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce (neck) is on the team's Week 18 injury report after putting in a limited practice session on Wednesday. Kelce's injury probably isn't serious enough to keep him from playing in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers, but with the Chiefs having already locked up the No. 3 seed in the AFC, there's a good chance the 34-year-old All-Pro will be rested this weekend. The Chiefs have already announced that quarterback Patrick Mahomes won't play, so Kelce's fantasy stock will be down regardless if he ends up suiting up against LA. Kelce is currently 16 yards shy of the 1,000-yard mark for his eighth straight season, so perhaps he'll start and get the necessary yards needed before taking a seat. Tight ends Noah Gray and Blake Bell figure to see more playing time on Sunday.

Rashee Rice Won't Practice Wednesday

Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Rashee Rice (hamstring) will not practice with the rest of the team on Wednesday, according to head coach Andy Reid. It's unclear how serious Rice's hamstring injury is, but even if it's not very serious and he's able to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, the impressive 23-year-old pass-catcher will be a candidate to be rested. The Chiefs have locked up the No. 3 seed for the playoffs and are already going to be sitting star quarterback Patrick Mahomes for this one. Rice has emerged as KC's clear leading receiver in his first year in the NFL, but he's trending toward being a volatile fantasy option this weekend with the Chiefs having nothing to play for.
