Robert Woods Questionable For Week 18

Houston Texans wide receiver Robert Woods (hip) was unable to practice all week but is listed as questionable to play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night. The Texans already ruled out Noah Brown (back) for this one, so if Woods doesn't get cleared to play on Saturday, the Texans will be down to Nico Collins, rookie Xavier Hutchinson and John Metchie III as their three receivers. Even if Woods plays, expect both Collins and tight end Dalton Schultz to be heavily targeted by quarterback C.J. Stroud in a must-win game for Houston. The 31-year-old Woods just hasn't been reliable at all for fantasy purposes, and that probably won't change this weekend if he's able to suit up. In 14 games this year, the veteran pass-catcher has just 40 grabs for 426 yards and one touchdown.

Robert Woods Misses Practice Tuesday

Houston Texans wide receiver Robert Woods (hip) was listed as a non-participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice. Woods and Noah Brown (back) left the Week 17 win over the Tennessee Titans and are now up in the air to play in a must-win Week 18 contest versus the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday night. Even if Woods returns to practice on Wednesday or Thursday and is active this weekend, he'll be extremely hard to trust in fantasy lineups with a championship still on the line. The 31-year-old veteran has just 40 receptions for 426 yards and one touchdown (back in Week 6) on 75 targets this year. If one or both of Brown/Woods are out or limited in Week 18, John Metchie III and rookie Xavier Hutchinson would have bigger roles in the passing game.

Bills Trying To Keep Stefon Diggs Fresh

Buffalo Bills struggling wide receiver Stefon Diggs was on the field for just 65% of the offensive snaps in the Week 17 win over the New England Patriots and hasn't topped a 70% snap share since Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady said on Monday that he and Diggs are on the same page about his usage. Brady said the reasoning is to keep Diggs fresh and to make sure quarterback Josh Allen and the offense is efficient when targeting Diggs. Buffalo has also had a renewed focus on the run game in the last four weeks, with Diggs going for only 17 catches on 31 targets for 127 yards and no TDs. The 30-year-old will have a nice chance to bounce back in Week 18 against the Miami Dolphins, though. In the wild-card win over Miami last year, he had a team-high seven catches for 114 yards and then caught six passes for 120 yards and three touchdowns in Week 4 of this season against the Dolphins.

Brevin Jordan Finds End Zone Versus Titans

Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan caught both of his targets for 19 yards and one touchdown during a win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 17. Despite operating behind Dalton Schultz, Jordan was able to contribute offensively with Houston's lone receiving touchdown. On that note, Jordan doesn't see much volume when Schultz is healthy and has never been a consistent touchdown scorer. As long as he remains in a depth role, Jordan can be left off the fantasy radar.

Dalton Schultz Catches Just Two Passes Sunday

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz turned four targets into just two catches for 19 yards during Sunday's win over the Tennessee Titans. It was a disappointing outing from the 27-year-old, who was just one week removed from a big eight-catch, 61-yard outburst versus Cleveland. With that said, the Texans' passing attack didn't have to do much on Sunday given that they jumped out to an early lead over the Titans and never looked back. A much more pass-heavy approach would have worked in Schultz's favor. He continues to rank as a low-end fantasy TE1 versus Indianapolis next week.
