Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs will look to build off his return to the Packers' lineup last week in Green Bay's Week 7 tilt with the visiting Houston Texans. Doubs had his best game of the season in Week 6 against the Cardinals, posting three receptions for 49 yards and two touchdown grabs on the afternoon. Finishing as WR11 on the week, Doubs' fantasy scoring was a bit touchdown-heavy, but made the most of his limited grabs. As the lead Packers' receiver in terms of routes run, Doubs will be on the field more often than any other Packers receivers, but the fact remains that there is stiff competition with Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Tucker Kraft, Dontayvion Wicks, and other pass-catchers for targets each week. Because of that, Doubs is a low-end WR3 for fantasy managers this week against the Texans, as this contest could be one of the higher-scoring games this weekend.
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (groin) came off the Packers' final injury report after turning in three limited practices and is good to go as Green Bay takes on the Houston Texans in Week 7. After two consecutive overall TE1 performances in Weeks 4-5, Kraft came back down to earth with just two receptions for 13 yards in the Packers' win over the Cardinals. Kraft's down game had to do with the returning options back for the Packers, as Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson both came back to combine for three touchdowns. With so many weapons in tow for the Packers, Kraft's floor may be a bit lower than we'd like, but those two weeks where he was overall TE1 show the potential when he is targeted. Because of how shallow tight end is in fantasy, Kraft is a low-end TE1 against the Texans this week.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (ankle) turned in three limited practice sessions this week and was removed from the Packers' injury report for Week 7 as Green Bay hosts the Houston Texans. Reed has been a volatile fantasy option but has turned in 5-of-6 games with double-digit fantasy points, including an overall WR1 and WR2 finish. Big plays are Reed's specialty, but he's mixed in some target earning as well with at least six targets in 5-of-6 games this season. Reed has been used deep and at the line of scrimmage, as evidence by his average depth of target (aDOT) in Week 5 (12.7 yards) and his aDOT from Week 6 (-1.8 yards) where he was used more as a short-area target. No matter how he's used, Reed has been incredibly productive this season and will be a key piece of the puzzle when the Packers battle the Texans. Consider Reed a low-end fantasy WR1 with overall WR1 upside in this Week 7 clash.
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has been solid, yet unspectacular this season. He will get another opportunity to get into the scoring column as the Packers host the Houston Texans in Week 7. Jacobs has gotten the lion's share of opportunity as the top rusher in Green Bay but has parlayed that into just one top-12 fantasy week in six games. He's been a high-floor, low-ceiling option at running back and has just one touchdown to his credit in Week 5 against the Rams. With both offenses stacked with options, it could be the running backs, namely Jacobs, that turn the tide and become the difference as the Texans have allowed the fourth-most yards after contact per attempt and Jacobs has been solid (29th of 61 qualified backs) in that regard. Look for Jacobs to be on that low-end RB/high-end RB2 line in Week 7 for fantasy purposes.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love looks to keep his strong run of fantasy production going as the Packers host the Houston Texans in Week 7. Since returning to the Packers' lineup in Week 5, Love has had two QB3-or-better performances under his belt and has tossed multiple touchdown passes in every game he's played this season. With the Texans being a bit of a pass-funnel defense, Love should have plenty of time to connect with his pass-catching weapons and get some volume as well. With both offenses having the potential for plenty of passing, Love should be considered among the top handful of fantasy options at the position heading into Week 7.
