Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love will face off against the Chicago Bears in Week 18. The 25-year-old put on a clinic against the Minnesota Vikings last week, throwing for 256 yards and tallying four touchdowns. It was the best fantasy performance of the season for Love, and now he will face off against a team that he has not seen since Week 1, where he threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns in his debut as the starter for Green Bay. Christian Watson (hamstring), Jayden Reed (chest), and Dontayvion Wicks (chest) are all listed as questionable for Sunday. Reed and Wick seem the most likely to play, while Watson seems more 50/50 after only two limited practice sessions. Love has had plenty of great fantasy outings with weapons missing, so whoever is active will just add to his chances of a top-five performance. Consider the first-year starter a QB1 in Week 18.
Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (quad) has been ruled out for Week 18 versus the Denver Broncos. This should not come as a surprise considering Jacobs missed all three practices this week. The 25-year-old had been impressive for most of the season before missing the Raiders' final four games of the year. This has been difficult for fantasy managers in the playoffs, especially those who were unable to add Zamir White to their rosters. White is expected to lead the Raiders' backfield this week versus Denver, ranking as a low-end fantasy RB3.
Green Bay Packers rookie tight end Luke Musgrave (kidney) is officially listed as questionable for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. Musgrave remains on Injured Reserve and hasn't played since Week 11 due to a lacerated kidney, but he has been practicing on a limited basis the last two weeks and could be activated from IR on Saturday in order to help the Packers in a must-win game on Sunday at Lambeau Field. The 23-year-old second-rounder had 33 receptions on 45 targets for 341 yards and one touchdown in his first 10 NFL games before getting hurt, but if he is activated and is eligible this weekend, fantasy managers should expect him to be eased into the offense. Fellow rookie Tucker Kraft has been adequate as the team's pass-catching tight end the last six weeks with Musgrave sidelined.
Green Bay Packers rookie wide receivers Dontayvion Wicks (chest) and Jayden Reed (chest) are both questionable to play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Christian Watson (hamstring), who has missed the last four games, is also questionable, but he appears to have a better shot at returning in a must-win game for the Packers. Before getting hurt in the Week 17 win over the Minnesota Vikings, Reed had six catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns with both Watson and Wicks out. Even if Watson returns to action this weekend, Reed, who we expect to play, will be the most expensive and attractive DFS play. The 23-year-old has been a touchdown machine in the second half of his first NFL season and has found the end zone seven times in the last seven games. On the flip side, Chicago isn't friendly to opposing wideouts, so all of Green Bay's receivers have some level of bust potential as well.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (hamstring) did not practice with the team on Friday and is questionable to play in a must-win Week 18 regular season finale against the visiting Chicago Bears on Sunday. Head coach Matt LaFleur said Watson was basically given the day off on Friday after two good practices on Wednesday and Thursday, so despite the DNP, the 24-year-old could be ready to return to the fold after missing the last four contests. Still, he could be a game-time decision for the later slate of games this Sunday, which makes him extremely risky for fantasy purposes in single-year leagues and in DFS. Rookie Jayden Reed (chest) is also questionable for the Packers, so their receiving corps is in flux heading into an important Week 18 contest. Quarterback Jordan Love could struggle against a potent Bears secondary if he's down a couple of his top wideouts.
