Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler (nose) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The big man will miss this game after suffering a fractured nose during Tuesday's contest. He'll be joined by fellow forward John Collins (back) who continues to sit due to a lingering injury. Omer Yurtseven is likely to play big minutes with the Jazz shorthanded for this game. He'll be someone worth targeting in fantasy leagues after playing 30 minutes during their last game.

Boston Celtics guard Jaden Springer (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Due to left knee tendinopathy, Springer is in danger of missing his fourth straight game. The 21-year-old has played in 45 games this season, averaging 10.0 minutes per contest. During that time, he's posted 3.2 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 0.9 points per game. He does not factor into fantasy hoops across all formats when healthy.

Utah Jazz forward/center John Collins (back) won't play on Tuesday against the Cavaliers. The 26-year-old didn't suit up for Sunday's loss to the Sacramento Kings because of back spasms. But truth be told, he has no incentive to return for any of Utah's remaining games, considering the Jazz can't make the postseason. Nevertheless, Collins' next chance to see the floor will be Friday versus the Los Angeles Clippers. However, as far as Tuesday's contest is concerned, Walker Kessler should remain starting at the five, although he usually doesn't offer much outside of blocks and rebounds.

Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (pelvis) won't play on Tuesday versus the Cavs. The Jazz can't make the postseason, so there's a chance the veteran is done for the rest of the 2023-24 campaign. But with John Collins (back) and Lauri Markkanen (shoulder) also sidelined, Collin Sexton, Keyonte George, Brice Sensabaugh, and Taylor Hendricks all warrant DFS consideration on Tuesday night.

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (shoulder) appears set to miss the rest of the season. He has re-aggravated a previous shoulder injury, and the team has announced that Markkanen will be re-evaluated in two weeks. It's possible he might get the all-clear for Utah's season finale on April 14, but it looks unlikely, as there is no point in taking any risks with his health. Markkanen has missed all but five games this month, with his absence opening up playing time for Taylor Hendricks and Brice Sensabaugh. Both players have filled starting roles lately, albeit with mixed results. Markkanen's injury situation also benefits Keyonte George and Collin Sexton, who have extra usage offensively without him on the court.
