Utah Jazz point guard Jordan Clarkson (foot) will not suit up for Thursday's contest against the Miami Heat. The last time he played, Clarkson had to leave the court due to a foot injury and played only three minutes against the Miami Heat on January 4th. Later in the game, the Jazz announced that Clarkson injured his left plantar fascia. In 22 games played this year, Clarkson is averaging 16 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. Clarkson is set to miss upcoming games against the Phoenix Suns, and Brooklyn Nets. Patty Mills will see more work in Clarkson's absence.

Utah Jazz forward/center John Collins (hip) will not suit up against Miami on Thursday. He has appeared in only one of the last eight games and will miss another due to a hip issue. Collins' absence will likely allow Johnny Juzang to continue his run as a starter. The sweet-shooting UCLA product has averaged 11.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists, with 2.3 made three-pointers as a starter. Collins will get his next chance to return on Saturday versus Phoenix.

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (back) has been upgraded to available ahead of Tuesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Markkanen is back in the lineup after sitting out their last game due to back spasms. Both Johnny Juzang and Micah Potter figure to have reduced roles with Markkanen back in the mix. Fantasy managers in season-long formats can go ahead and get Markkanen back in their lineups on Tuesday. The 27-year-old has been in a bit of a shooting slump over the last few games.

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (back) missed Sunday's win with back spasms, but he is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game in Salt Lake City when the Jazz take on the Hawks. Markkanen has been a key contributor when available for Utah but has been limited to 28 games. When available, he has produced 19.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 0.8 steals per game. If Markkanen is available, he could get a heavy workload since Jordan Clarkson (foot), Keyonte George (heel), and John Collins (personal) are all out. If Markkanen joins them on the sideline, there will be even more usage available for the young Jazz players like Isaiah Collier, Brice Sensabaugh, and Kyle Filipowski, while Collin Sexton and Svi Mykhailiuk also help carry the load

Utah Jazz forward John Collins (personal) won't face his former team on Tuesday when the Jazz host the Hawks. Collins has played just one game since December 21 after missing five games with a hip contusion before returning on Saturday and then missing Sunday's game with a personal matter that will also keep him away from the team on Tuesday. On Sunday, Micah Potter started in his spot against the Jazz and had three points, two rebounds, a steal, and a block in 21 minutes. Off the bench, Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski both had big games with Sensabaugh scoring a team-high 27 points after scoring 34 points on Saturday night in Miami. Sensabaugh was the Jazz's first-round pick in 2023, and he should continue to get a chance to showcase his upside while Collins, Jordan Clarkson (foot), and Keyonte George (heel) are all sidelined.
