Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine (back) has been ruled out ahead of Monday's game against the Toronto Raptors. LaVine has been nursing a back issue for quite some time, but he was able to play through it on Friday. However, it appears to still be bothering him, so he'll sit out of Monday's contest. The absence of LaVine means that Talen Horton-Tucker, Ayo Dosunmu, and Julian Phillips could all see expanded roles. Dosunmu is the best option of the bunch and should see more scoring chances with LaVine unable to go.

Sacramento Kings forwardKeegan Murray (ankle) is questionable for Monday's matchup with the Denver Nuggets due to soreness in his left ankle. The Kings will already be without Kevin Huerter(shoulder). Murray averages 12.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.8 blocks across 36.3 minutes per contest. If the 24-year-old is unable to step on the court this evening, Doug McDermott and Jae Crowder could soak up some of the extra minutes available.

Chicago Bulls forward Zach LaVine (back) will play in Friday's game against the Hornets. The veteran has played well throughout the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 22.1 points and shooting 43.2% from behind the arc. But he was dealing with back spasms. Fortunately, it won't keep him off the floor for the favorable matchup versus Charlotte.

As expected, LaVine will suit up as he was listed as probable on the injury report due to back soreness. LaVine nearly notched a triple-double during Thursday's win over the San Antonio Spurs. This season, LaVine is averaging 21.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists across 33 minutes per game this season. He'll be good to go on Friday despite it being a back-to-back set. Fantasy managers can safely get LaVine active in their lineups ahead of tip-off.

Sacramento Kings forward DeMar DeRozan (back) will return to work on Sunday versus San Antonio. He's missed a couple of games due to lower back inflammation. New signing Jae Crowder made a pair of starts during DeRozan's absence and is set to land on the bench now. DeRozan's debut campaign in Sacramento has gone well, as the veteran star has averaged 22.6 points with 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists. He went for 21 points, eight rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and one steal in this season's first meeting with the Spurs.
