Memphis Grizzlies forward Vince Williams Jr. (ankle) has only managed to play in three games this season as the injuries continue to pile up on him. Williams suffered a Grade 3 right ankle sprain during Tuesday's game against the Denver Nuggets. As a result, Williams will be shut down for four weeks and will be re-evaluated after that. The Grizzlies are likely going to use a committee approach to fill the void left by Williams. Jake LaRavia, John Konchar, and Luke Kennard should all see increased roles going forward. Out of the trio, LaRavia is the best fantasy option out of the bunch. He's worth a look as a streaming option with the Grizzlies shorthanded right now.
Memphis Grizzlies guard/forwardVince Williams Jr.(ankle) won't play against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. Williams sprained his right ankle during Tuesday's contest with the Denver Nuggets and could not return. Marcus Smart(illness) andJohn Konchar(illness) could also be out, as they are listed as doubtful. Jake LaRaviaand Luke Kennard will see more minutes than usual if Smart and Konchar cannot suit up.
Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Williams Jr. (shin) has been ruled out for the start of the season. According to Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins, Williams Jr. is "a couple of weeks away" from being ready to play. The 24-year-old is recovering from a shin stress reaction. Once he's healthy again, Williams Jr. will be leading the second unit. He did most of his damage as a starter last year, so Williams Jr.'s fantasy stock will be lower in 2024-25 unless Memphis starts losing its key guys to injuries again. Jake LaRavia and John Konchar should handle Williams Jr.'s minutes until he's ready to return. Neither player is a good fantasy option.
Memphis Grizzlies guard Vince Williams Jr. (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale with the Nuggets. Williams Jr. will miss his 17th consecutive game with tendonitis in his left patellar tendon. Scotty Pippen Jr. and Jordan Goodwin could be solid DFS options and will see many extra minutes with most of the Grizzlies roster sitting out Sunday.
Memphis Grizzlies guard Vince Williams Jr. (knee) has been ruled out again on Friday and will remain on the sidelines with tendonitis in his left patellar tendon. This will be his 13th consecutive game missed after becoming a surprising rotational mainstay this season. Williams is likely part of the team's future, so they're not going to risk him injuring his knee any further. In the meantime, Scotty Pippen Jr., Jordan Goodwin, and Lamar Stevens have all been solid streaming options. Each one of them can garner some DFS interest as well given the better matchup.
