Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody will stay around in San Francisco after agreeing to a rookie contract extension. As reported by Shams Charania, the 22-year-old has agreed to a three-year, $39 million deal which will keep him with the team through the 2027-28 season. Moody has turned into a solid rotational player and he saw the most playing time of his career last season. He posted averages of 8.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.0 threes across 17.5 minutes per game. His fantasy value is limited until he can get on the floor more often, but can be a streamer in deeper leagues.
According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors and guard Moses Moody aren't close to agreeing on a contract extension. Like Jonathan Kuminga, an agreement on a new deal must be finalized by October 21. If talks aren't successful by then, Moody will hit restricted free agency next offseason. The 22-year-old averaged a career-high 8.1 points and 3.0 rebounds in 66 games last season. However, Moody will have a difficult time improving those numbers during the 2024-25 campaign, considering the Warriors have Stephen Curry, Brandin Podziemski, and Andrew Wiggins on the roster. The team also added Buddy Hield, De'Anthony Melton, and Kyle Anderson this offseason.
Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody (knee) has been tagged as questionable for their Friday matchup against the Indiana Pacers. Unfortunately, for his fantasy value, the rest of the team is healthy, so if he does end up playing he's not the best option in the fantasy playoffs. If he has to watch from the sidelines, however, Brandin Podziemski, Chris Paul, and Klay Thompson will likely split up the vacant minutes. There could be one path to playing time if Moody gets to play and that would have to be a blowout in favor of either team.
Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody (knee) has been cleared to play ahead of Monday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. Moody will make his way back to the court after being listed as probable on the injury report. Despite being active, Moody isn't worth streaming in most fantasy formats. Gary Payton II (illness) should be active, which takes away most of the potential from Moody.
Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody (knee) is considered probable to play on Monday against the San Antonio Spurs. The third-year combo guard has stepped into a bigger role lately, especially while Stephen Curry (ankle) is sidelined for a couple of games. Moody has been receiving 24.1 minutes per contest over the last seven games and started in four of those. During that span, he's averaged 10.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.0 steals, 1.0 turnovers, and 1.1 made threes per game. Moody makes a good streaming option in deeper leagues for fantasy managers who need a handful of points, threes, and rebounds.
