Golden State Warriors forward/center Draymond Green (knee) has been listed as questionable for Thursday's matchup against Portland. The four-time All-Star made an early exit on Sunday against Utah due to an apparent back problem, and he's now on the injury report with a knee contusion. Jonathan Kuminga and Trayce Jackson-Davis have the most to gain from a fantasy perspective if Green can't play on Thursday. This is a favorable matchup for Golden State's big men against a bad rebounding team that struggles on the defensive end.
Golden State Warriors forward/center Draymond Green didn't finish Sunday's contest against Utah due to an apparent back injury. He spent only 21 minutes on the court, contributing three points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block. Golden State returns to action on Tuesday against the Lakers, and it's unclear if Green will be in the lineup. Jonathan Kuminga, who returned to action with a nice 21-point, 10-rebound double-double on Sunday, would benefit from Green's absence. There might be a few extra minutes of playing time coming in Trayce Jackson-Davis' direction as well.
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (back) is considered probable for Friday night against the Indiana Pacers. The veteran has been able to play in each one of the last three games and he'll extend that streak to four. All of the starters should be healthy for this matchup and the Warriors have a lot of ground to make up if they want to avoid the play-in tournament. Green hasn't been much of a help in the scoring department lately, but over the last three games he's averaging 10.7 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. He remains a must-start in average or bigger fantasy leagues,
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (back) will play on Wednesday against Memphis. The veteran recently admitted he's battling a back issue, seemingly indicating there's a chance he could miss some games moving ahead. There's also the potential of a premature absence if the back injury flares up during the contest. But Green has averaged just 8.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 6.0 assists this season, all down from the 2022-23 campaign, which should be a bigger deterrent for fantasy managers. That said, Green's availability will at least be enough to keep Kevon Looney off the floor.
Golden State Warriors forward/center Draymond Green (back) is questionable for Wednesday's matchup against Memphis. The veteran continues to battle lower back soreness, which has kept him on the injury report lately. However, Green has played in back-to-back games, logging 30-plus minutes in both contests, so it's possible he can play through the ailment again. But if he's out, we should see a lot of Trayce Jackson-Davis on the Warriors frontcourt, with Kevon Looney working as his backup. This is a good matchup for Golden State's centers, as Memphis gives up the sixth-most rebounds in the league to the position.
