Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins (personal) has rejoined the team and will play on Monday against Toronto. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr confirmed the news after Wiggins practiced on Sunday. Wiggins struggled in his last outing, producing nine points on 4-for-10 shooting against Miami, so having some time off might have even benefited him. Matchups against his hometown team have always gone well for Wiggins, who has averaged 20.9 points for his career against the Raptors. He has notched more points only against Sacramento.
Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins (personal) was ruled out on Thursday, leaving the Warriors potentially extremely short-handed for their road game against the Pistons. Steph Curry (knee), Draymond Green (ankle), Dennis Schrder (hip), and Moses Moody (knee) remain questionable while Jonathan Kuminga (ankle), Brandin Podziemski (abdomen), and Gary Payton (calf) have already been ruled out in addition to Wiggins. Draymond Green will have a big role if available, but if he sits, Trayce Jackson-Davis could have to play more power forward with Kevon Looney at center. Kyle Anderson will also step into a larger role without Wiggins and Kuminga, and Lindy Waters III and Buddy Hield may have to carry more of the workload as well, depending on who is available in the backcourt.
Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins (hamstring) is listed as probable for Saturday night's matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. Wiggins is dealing with right hamstring tightness that landed him on the injury report Thursday, though he was able to play through it and scored 15 points against Philadelphia. With Curry already ruled out, Wiggins becomes an intriguing fantasy option. In his last game against Memphis the 29-year-old was able to score 19 points and went four-for-five from three, though the Warriors got blown out by 51 that game. That stat line was put up in just 20 minutes of play. If Golden State is able to keep it close then Wiggins will be a fantastic fantasy option in all formats.
Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins (hamstring) was added to the injury report as probable with what the team called "right hamstring tightness." While it still looks like Wiggins will play, it's worth noting since it's such a late addition for the Warriors starter. Wiggins has been struggling in his last three games since his big Christmas Day double-double. In his three games since then, he has shot just 31.3% and averaged just 7.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.7 blocks. His hamstring could be holding him back, so it's definitely something to monitor moving forward. If he misses time, Jonathan Kuminga, Kyle Anderson or even Moses Moody could pick up extra work.
Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins (ankle) is expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday versus Houston. He missed Sunday's matchup against Minnesota with an ankle issue. Officially, Wiggins has been listed as questionable for Wednesday's action. However, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr declared Wiggins is "ready to go" after he had a full practice session with the team on Tuesday. Wiggins' performance levels fluctuate, but he enjoyed a meeting with the Rockets last week, posting 23 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block. Gary Payton II will likely return to a bench role with Wiggins in the lineup.
