Dallas Mavericks guard Jaden Hardy (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's Christmas clash with the Timberwolves. He has missed the last six games because of a sprained ankle. However, the 22-year-old is seemingly moving in a favorable direction regarding a return to the court. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Hardy is having the worst year of his career, averaging only 6.5 points and 30.5% shooting from behind the three-point line. Even if he is cleared to suit up versus Minnesota, he'll have a tough time getting meaningful minutes with Luka Doncic (heel) and Kyrie Irving available. In addition, the uptick in production from Quentin Grimes could mean Hardy may have difficulty getting on the floor.

Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (elbow) has shaken off a questionable tag and will play against Detroit on Monday. Davis has been battling a foot problem throughout the campaign and is now also dealing with an elbow contusion. However, he will be ready to push through the issues once again. Davis struggled to score in the last game against Sacramento, but he has been on an impressive six-game double-double streak lately. The run includes three games with at least 30 points and three games with 15-plus rebounds. The Pistons give up the third-fewest rebounds in the league to opposing centers, so Davis's double-double streak gets a good test on Monday.

Los Angeles Lakers centerAnthony Davis(elbow) has been upgraded to probable for Saturday's matchup with the Sacramento Kings. Davis has battled through several injuries this season, but his new left elbow injury won't likely keep him out of Saturday's contest. The 31-year-old has only missed one game so far this season and has averaged 27.5 points and 11.7 rebounds. If the big man suits up, he is a must-start across all fantasy formats.

Unsurprisingly, Hardy will miss another game which marks five in a row due to sprained right ankle. His absence hurts a little more with fellow guard Luka Doncic (heel) also sidelined on Saturday. However, Kyrie Irving (shoulder) is making his return to the court and he should see a heavy workload. Also, Spencer Dinwiddie and Quentin Grimes should see increased roles with Doncic and Hardy missing at least one more game. Both Dinwiddie and Grimes are worth a look as low-end streaming options.

Irving sat out of Thursday's game, but was able to practice on Friday without any issues. That being said, Irving will be back in the mix on Saturday, which is good news for the Mavs who will be without Luka Doncic (heel) for the second straight game. Irving figures to take on a bigger workload and a majority of the ball handling. Fantasy managers should make sure to get him in their lineups on Saturday.
