Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday (shoulder) is questionable for Thursday's game against Atlanta. He's missed the last five games with an AC joint sprain, so this could be his first appearance in nearly two weeks. But the C's are sitting comfortably atop the Eastern Conference, meaning Holiday won't be on the floor until he's fully healthy. Nonetheless, if he sits out another game, Sam Hauser, averaging 12.6 points and 5.0 rebounds in 10 starts during the 2023-24 campaign, could remain with the first five.

Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday (shoulder) participated in practice on Wednesday. Holiday has missed Boston's last five games with a shoulder injury, but his activity at Wednesday's session is encouraging for his status for Thursday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. The first-place Celtics will submit their official injury report later on Wednesday, and the two-way veteran guard should be tentatively deemed questionable at worst ahead of time. The sharpshooting Payton Pritchard has enjoyed quite a hot run as a fantasy streamer, averaging 17.7 points, 7.7 dimes, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.2 threes on 45.2% shooting from downtown across his past six showings (two starts), but he would revert to the second unit if Holiday returns. Atlanta carries the third-worst defensive efficiency rating (116.8) in the Association during 2023-24.

Boston Celtics forward/center Xavier Tillman Sr. (knee) isn't available for Monday's meeting with the Hawks. He's dealing with left knee swelling. However, the 25-year-old has averaged only 3.5 points and 3.3 boards in 11 games with the Celtics this season, so his absence doesn't mean much from a fantasy standpoint. Tillman's next chance to play is on Thursday for a rematch with Atlanta. Yet, if Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford, and Luke Kornet are active, Tillman won't get involved in that one, either.

Boston Celtics guard Derrick White (hand) won't play in Monday's matchup with the Atlanta Hawks. Jaylen Brown (ankle), Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring), and Jayson Tatum (ankle) missed time recently, so it's White's turn to get the night off. There's nothing to suggest his hand sprain is severe, meaning he could be back in the lineup for the rematch on Thursday evening. With Jrue Holiday (shoulder) also sidelined, Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser are expected to slide into the starting lineup, giving them a higher ceiling for fantasy managers.

Boston Celtics center Xavier Tillman Sr. (knee) has been listed as questionable due to knee swelling for Monday's contest against the Atlanta Hawks. The 25-year-old has settled into a reserve role so far in Boston and that should continue if he does end up playing on Monday. Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford are both set to play in this one, so that will leave Tillman with the scraps or some garbage time if they end up winning by a blowout. If he's unable to suit up, Luke Kornet will get those vacant minutes while Horford and Porzingis likely get a few extra opportunities in a closer game.
