The 32-year-old Dominican outfielder thrived hitting in the middle of LA's stacked lineup in his first year with the team in 2024, slashing .272/.339/.501 with an .840 OPS, a career-high 33 home runs, 99 RBI, 12 steals and 84 runs scored in 154 games during the regular season. It will certainly be tough to live up to those numbers if he leaves the Dodgers in pursuit of the American League East or somewhere else.

Hernandez tallied two hits including the game-tying two-run double in the fifth inning which capped an impressive five-run inning for the Dodgers. After struggling through most of the NLCS, Hernandez safely reached in every game during the World Series and tallied at least two hits in two of the games.
