The 24-year-old Dominican flamethrower has only appeared in six games for the Mariners in his first year with the team and has allowed four earned runs on six hits while walking one and striking out five in 5 1/3 frames. Santos has the ability to be an intriguing late-inning arm in the bullpen, but he just hasn't been healthy this year.

Hancock should be back with the M's again in 2024 when they're in need of more rotation help.
