Will Dissly Leads The Chargers In All Receiving Categories In Week 7

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly led the Chargers in all receiving categories in a Week 7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Dissly was targeted 11 times, making eight catches for 81 yards. Those numbers were all good for first place in each category, as the next most targeted Charger (Ladd McConkey) saw seven balls thrown his way, making five catches. Dissly had made 13 catches all season entering this game, but he saw heavy targets as the Chargers tried to not rely on their running game for the first real time this season (it didn't work). Despite not scoring a touchdown, this might end up being Dissly's best fantasy performance of the season. Chasing points with him in Week 8 against the Saints is not likely a recommended strategy.

Will Dissly Could Be Fantasy Relevant In Week 7

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (shoulder) could find himself fantasy relevant in a Week 7 Monday Night Football game against the Arizona Cardinals. Dissly hasn't done a ton this season, totaling 13 catches for 111 yards. His best fantasy finish so far has been a TE18 finish in Week 2, but with several Chargers pass catchers including fellow tight end Hayden Hurst (groin) injured and not expected to play, Dissly could see more targets thrown his way by necessity. He's still not a TE1 option, but he should put up solid TE2 stats and has a decently high floor for his position.

Will Dissly Makes Three Catches In A Week 2 Win

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly made three catches in a Week 2 win over the Carolina Panthers. Dissly was targeted three times, making all three catches for 29 yards. He ended up second on the team in both catches and receiving yards. The Chargers didn't throw much, completing just 14 passes on 20 drop backs, but Dissly should retain a similar role in the offense going forward. He'll be a floor-play TE2/3 without much upside but could come down with an occasional touchdown here and there.
