Kyle Bradish Nursing Elbow Issue

Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish (elbow) said his elbow was bothering him after the fifth inning of Friday's game against the visiting Philadelphia Phillies. Manager Brandon Hyde said Baltimore will have Bradish undergo further tests to determine what the problem is. Considering Bradish missed the first month of the year with a UCL sprain during spring training, it's not exactly what the O's or fantasy managers want to be hearing. With five strong innings on Friday against the Phillies, the 27-year-old right-hander sports a 2.75 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with 53 punchouts and 15 walks through 39 1/3 innings in 2024. Bradish is tentatively slated to start next Friday's matchup against the Houston Astros, though his test results would need to come back clean for that to happen.

Kyle Bradish Tosses Seven No-Hit Innings Against White Sox

Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish dominated the Chicago White Sox on Sunday, throwing seven no-hit innings and picking up the win in a 4-1 victory. Bradish was firing on all cylinders in this one, striking out a season-high 11. He did walk four, but that can be looked past given the aforementioned zero hits allowed. He was pulled after the seventh, which makes sense given he was at 103 pitches and his season-high was only 90 before this game. For some reason, the righty isn't universally rostered right now, but he ought to be and likely will be after this start. Go get him if he is available.

Kyle Bradish Strikes Out Nine In No-Decision

Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Kyle Bradish threw five innings of one-run ball in Wednesday's 7-6 12-inning victory over the Nationals, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out nine, but did not factor into the decision. Bradish has now had two solid outings since coming off the IL, now boasting a 1.86 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and a 4:14 BB:K over nine-and-two-thirds IP. Fantasy managers who stashed him in an IL spot for the first month of the season should feel confident using him again, if they hadn't already, although his innings may be somewhat limited as he returns to full strength. The former fourth-round MLB draft pick's next start lines up next Tuesday at home against Toronto.
