Jazz Chisholm Jr. Returns To Starting Lineup On Saturday

Miami Marlins outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (hand) has returned to the starting lineup. The 26-year-old was kept out of the lineup on Friday due to facing a southpaw and a minor hand injury. In addition, he made seven straight starts prior to that. Chisholm will bat in the leadoff spot and play in center field. In 79 games this season, Chisholm has posted a .260/.327/.429 slash line with 10 long balls, 37 RBI, and 14 stolen bases. Before sitting out on Friday, Chisholm tallied at least one hit in four of his last six games. However, he should be faded in DFS this afternoon as he will face Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola, who has posted a 2.77 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, and a near-perfect 1:12 BB:K ratio in his previous two starts.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. Held Out Against Lefty

Miami Marlins outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. is not in the team's starting lineup on Friday against the hosting Philadelphia Phillies with left-hander Cristopher Sanchez on the mound. The Marlins are also resting outfielders Jesus Sanchez and Nick Gordon and catcher Nick Fortes in this one. Vidal Brujan is starting in center field and batting eighth, Dane Myers is in right field and is hitting cleanup, Otto Lopez is at second base and batting fifth, and Ali Sanchez is doing the catching out of the nine-hole for the Fish as they look for a second straight win to open up the series in Philly. Chisholm took a pitch off his hand in Thursday's victory but ended up staying in the game. The 26-year-old's mix of power and speed make him a must-start in all fantasy formats when he's active. Chisholm is currently slashing .260/.327/.429 with 10 homers, 37 RBI and 14 steals in 296 at-bats.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. Playing On Sunday

Miami Marlins outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (biceps) is serving as the designated hitter and is batting in his customary leadoff spot on Sunday versus the visiting Seattle Mariners and right-hander Bryce Miller. Chisholm was removed from Saturday's game early due to right-biceps tightness, according to manager Skip Schumaker, but apparently it wasn't a very serious injury. Chisholm has dealt with a couple minor injuries of late, but thankfully he hasn't been forced to miss much time and will be available for fantasy managers on Sunday. He's have a solid month of June amid some injuries, as he's hitting .288 (17-for-59) with two home runs, a triple, seven RBI, five walks, two stolen bases and five runs scored in 17 games played. Keep Chisholm in your fantasy lineups in a matchup against Miller, who Chisholm has never faced in his career.
