Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels should be poised to bounce back on Thursday evening against the Philadelphia Eagles. Last weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Daniels scored a season-low 10.6 PPR points and tallied just 202 passing yards with no scores. However, in his previous two games, the LSU product averaged 23.8 PPR points in each contest, with 267.5 passing yards and 43.5 rushing yards in each game. Even though the Eagles have surrendered the fourth-fewest PPR points to opposing QBs, given the hefty 48.5-point total, the Commanders may need to force the ball downfield to keep up with a potent Philadelphia offense setting up Daniels for a productive showing.
Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) is off the injury report and is good to go for Thursday's divisional tilt against the Philadelphia Eagles. Robinson has been sidelined for the past two games with a hamstring injury. In his absence, Austin Ekeler has been deployed as the top running back with Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez Jr. operated as depth options. However, fantasy managers should expect Robinson to reclaim his lead role on Thursday evening and for Ekeler to revert back to his third-down role. The 25-year-old Alabama product has averaged a solid 14.1 PPR points per game this season and found the end zone six times in seven games. He should be viewed as a solid RB2 facing the Eagles who have allowed the second-fewest PPR points to opposing RBs.
Washington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert (hip) has officially been ruled out for the Week 11 game against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. Seibert was unable to practice this week and will miss his second straight game. The good news is he'll have extra time to recover before hopefully returning for another divisional contest in Week 12 against the Dallas Cowboys. With Seibert ruled out again, Zane Gonzalez should serve as Washington's kicker yet again after making both of his field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point tries in the Week 10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gonzalez was on point in his return to NFL action last Sunday, but fantasy managers should be able to find better streaming options at the position than Gonzalez against the Eagles on Thursday Night Football.
Washington Commanders kicker Austin Seibert (hip) was unable to participate during Tuesday's practice session. Seibert sat out last week's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a hip issue. It seems that Seibert is still dealing with that problem after missing Tuesday's practice. He's trending in the wrong direction ahead of Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Zane Gonzalez figures to be asked to take over the kicking duties if Seibert sits out during this short week. Gonzalez knocked down both his field goal attempts and three extra point kicks during last week's game. The 29-year-old could be worth streaming if Seibert is unable to play.
Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) was listed as limited on the Commanders' injury report on Tuesday. Robinson has not played since Week 8 because of the injury. He was close to returning in Week 11 so his activity on Tuesday suggests that he may be on track to return this week. Additionally, Robinson was limited on Monday's practice report as well. As long as Robinson keeps up this trend then he seems to have a good shot to play in Week 11 against the Washington Commanders. Fantasy managers will rejoice to have Robinson back in lineups. In seven games played in 2024, Robinson has racked up six touchdowns and 461 rushing yards. The Commanders' offense has been one of the best in the league thanks to rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. As such, Robinson's scoring opportunities have been constant. The Eagles defense presents a tough challenge for Robinson and he may be worked back into the lineup slowly. Should he suit up, he will likely be a low-end RB2 in Week 11.
