Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has been a shell of his former self when it comes to notching fantasy points. He clocks in as the TE16 in half-PPR formats while his teammate, Isaiah Likely, sits at TE1 due to his huge output in Week 1. The veteran saw a bit more work in Week 2 and continues to get separation while getting targeted during 19% of his routes run. Athletically and physically it doesn't appear that he's lost a step, so his big games seem to be on the way at some point. The problem is Lamar Jackson doesn't seem to be able to feed more than one pass-catcher per game. He'll go up against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3, however, who did give up seven receptions for 71 yards to the Browns' tight ends in Week 1. Despite a lackluster week against the Raiders, Andrews still finished TE11 and could see a bigger target share in Week 3 to get the team back on the winning track.

While he received more work this time compared to Isaiah Likely, he was unable to turn it into that much. He finished with four receptions for 51 yards on five targets but couldn't find the end zone. The fact that Andrews was more involved in this game was encouraging, but the passing game has been lackluster so far outside of one pass-catcher per game. He'll need to be a big part of the offense if the Ravens want to find their first win on the road against a capable Dallas Cowboys defense in Week 3.

He played more of a blocking role than a receiving role as the offensive line was in desperate need of help with Chris Jones in the backfield seemingly all the time. The Chiefs also game-planned to take Andrews out of the passing game, so it was an uphill battle all night long. Andrews will likely go up against Robert Spillane whose coverage grade isn't one of the highest for linebackers. Isaiah Likely may have proven to be a formidable tight end as well, but Andrews still has the chemistry with Lamar Jackson and ran 38 routes out of his 59 snaps in Week 1. He'll continue to run plenty of routes and should see a return to the mean target-wise. Fantasy managers can look to Andrews as a low-end TE1 in Week 2.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews turned in a very quiet game during the 20-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday. The veteran only received two targets and he caught both of them for 14 yards. The hot hand at tight end in this game went to Isaiah Likely who received 12 targets compared to Andrews' two. A silver lining for fantasy managers is that Andrews still played more snaps and ran more routes than Likely in this game, so his opportunities will likely remain high as the season progresses. According to PFF, he played 59 snaps and ran 38 routes compared to Likely's 53 snaps and 35 routes. Andrews might not be the target sponge he once was, but that remains to be seen while the Ravens take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2 looking for a bounce-back win.

Throughout the six seasons of his career, one thing has been abundantly clear, Andrews is Lamar Jackson's favorite weapon. While the team may have added some more capable pass-catchers and weapons in the ground game, Andrews remains the biggest constant for Jackson. Last year, Andrews caught 45 of his 61 targets for 544 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games. He's had 700 or more yards in four of the last five seasons and hasn't scored fewer than five touchdowns since his rookie year. Fantasy managers can consider the veteran a TE1 heading into the AFC Championship game rematch on Thursday night.
