Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has finally picked up some steam after posting a finish in TE2 territory in Week 5, then a TE1-level finish in Week 6. Andrews received nine targets over the last two games and turned them into seven receptions, 121 yards, and one touchdown. The difficult part of starting Andrews in fantasy lineups is that there's no way to tell which tight end on the Ravens will get targets, if any. On top of that, Tampa Bay is right in the middle of the pack against tight ends, giving up 8.0 fantasy points per game in half-PPR formats. Andrews could be started in a pinch, but it will be a risky decision.

The veteran gave fantasy managers what they've been waiting for as he also set a new season-high for receiving yards. Andrews registered 66 yards and a score on three receptions and four targets. It's hard to tell if this is the start of an Andrews revenge tour or if he was just the hot hand this time around. Either way, it helps the Ravens offense to get Andrews going again so the opposing defenders have more to worry about. Andrews will look to gain some momentum in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

So far, he's only had one week with a finish inside of TE1 territory, and that took a terrible week from tight ends across the league to allow him to finish as the TE10 with seven fantasy points in Week 2. In Week 6, he goes up against the Washington Commanders who have allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends and give up an average of 5.1 per game in half-PPR formats. Andrews hasn't done enough to give any fantasy managers confidence yet. There are better options across the league until Andrews can show some signs of consistency.

The veteran caught four of his five targets for 55 yards including a 27-yard catch for his longest play of the day. While this game was a move in the right direction for Andrews, the worrisome part was that both Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar were still in the mix and they both caught touchdowns. Sharing snaps with Likely was enough to drop his target share, now fantasy managers have to worry about Kolar stealing some targets away too. The biggest factor will be if the Ravens need to throw as much as they did in this game because Lamar Jackson was finally able to spread fantasy points around to more than one pass-catcher. Andrews and the Ravens will take on the Washington Commanders at home in Week 6.

The 29-year-old was once one of the easiest set-it-and-forget-it type of players over the last few seasons. Now, he's coming off two games in a row with zero receptions and two total targets. Even though the coaching staff still trusts him, he's going up against the Cincinnati Bengals who are giving up the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends. On top of that, the game plan between him and Isaiah Likely is always hard to predict. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for tight end contributions in Week 5.
