Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews wasn't a big part of the passing game despite the pass-catchers combining for 280 yards. The veteran ended the game with two receptions for 26 yards on two targets. He only received a 10.5% target share and Lamar Jackson only threw the ball 19 times. The game turned into a blowout pretty quickly after a slow first quarter, and the Ravens didn't need to throw the ball that much in the second half. Andrews will look to bounce back against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 10.
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has turned around his fantasy season in a big way over the last few weeks. He's found the end zone in three straight games and finished inside TE1 territory in each one. The Ravens' offense gets another tough test, however, as they play against the Denver Broncos in Week 9. They currently allow 8.2 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends in half-PPR leagues which ranks 21st in the league. One other issue is the addition of Diontae Johnson which could mean fewer targets for Andrews again. However, Johnson has only participated in less than a week of practices, so Andrews should have TE1 potential for at least one more week.
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews scored for the third straight week during the 29-24 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Andrews posted five receptions, 36 yards, and a touchdown on five targets. National Tight End Day meant the veteran almost had to score to celebrate properly. This marked his fourth touchdown in three games and his fourth consecutive game with three or more receptions. Lamar Jackson and Andrews seem to have found their rhythm again. The veteran hopes to keep the momentum going in a Week 9 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has finally started to produce the type of fantasy performances that managers have expected. He's finished as the TE3 in each of the last two weeks in half-PPR formats and has gathered 107 yards and three touchdowns on seven receptions. This all has come despite playing right around 50% of snaps. In Week 8, he'll take on the Cleveland Browns who are one of the tougher teams against opposing tight ends. They allow 5.1 fantasy points per game to the position and there are only three other teams that allow fewer. He's a bit of a risky start, but comes in around a low-end TE1, especially if Zay Flowers (ankle) doesn't suit up.
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews wants everyone to put the word out that he's back up. In their Monday night win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Andrews caught all four of his targets for 41 yards and two touchdowns. This marks two consecutive weeks as the TE3 in half-PPR formats. He's also jumped all the way up to TE9 on the season. The Ravens' offense has become more consistent each week while Lamar Jackson has utilized more of his weapons through the air. This could mean better days ahead for Andrews who will try to score again in Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns.
