Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins caught all four of his targets for 86 yards in the team's 30-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. He led Buffalo in receiving yards. Hollins made the most of his increased playing time with Amari Cooper (wrist) and Keon Coleman (wrist) sidelined. He and Curtis Samuel primarily manned the outside receiver spots. Most of his production came on a 44-yard completion to set up a last-second field goal before halftime. Hollins will revert to a secondary role if Cooper and Coleman can return against the Chiefs.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins (shoulder) was removed from the injury report heading into Sunday's matchup with the Colts. He practiced in full on Wednesday. However, there were some doubts regarding his availability after logging limited sessions on Thursday and Friday. Fortunately, he's good to go against Indianapolis. The 31-year-old is coming off his best game of the 2024-25 campaign, catching all five targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Dolphins. With Keon Coleman (wrist) out and Amari Cooper (wrist) questionable, there could be opportunities for others on the offensive end. While Khalil Shakir should remain Josh Allen's preferred receiving option, Hollins could gain streaming potential in deep league fantasy formats if Cooper doesn't suit up.
Buffalo Bills wide receivers Curtis Samuel (pectoral) and Mack Hollins (shoulder) were both wearing non-contact jerseys at Thursday's practice session. Hollins was listed as a full participant on Wednesday, so this would represent a downgrade for him. Samuel returned in the Week 9 win over the Miami Dolphins after missing Week 8, but he failed to catch his only target with Amari Cooper (wrist) out and has gone without a catch in each of his last two games. Rookie Keon Coleman (wrist) might miss multiple weeks, but even with Buffalo's receivers beat up, Samuel isn't an attractive starting fantasy lineup option. Hollins had gone without a catch in each of his last two games before bringing in all five of his targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in Week 9. If Cooper is out again this weekend, Hollins will be a touchdown-dependent WR4/flex option, at best, in deeper leagues.
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Mack Hollins caught two passes for 25 yards and a touchdown in Week 1. As was the case throughout his career, Hollins appears now and then with a double-digit fantasy football game. And just like his previous stops, Hollins is a part-time player who does the little things well. Interestingly, however, the Bills utilized Hollins far more than Curtis Samuel. The latter played 17 (27%) of the Bills' snaps in Week 1 and appeared to be the direct backup to Khalil Shakir. Hollins will be on the field for most three-receiver sets. That doesn't mean he needs to be on fantasy football rosters. He'll continue to be a low-target receiver who catches a touchdown or long pass from time to time. Keep Hollins on waiver wires ahead of the team's matchup with Miami on Thursday Night Football.
The Buffalo Bills agreed to terms with free-agent wide receiver Mack Hollins on an undisclosed deal on Wednesday, according to sources. As of right now, Hollins is essentially replacing Gabe Davis, who agreed to join the Jacksonville Jaguars in free agency earlier this week. In a run-heavy offensive scheme with the Atlanta Falcons with inconsistency all year at quarterback, Hollins caught just 18 passes for 251 yards and no touchdowns in 13 games in 2023. However, the year before in 2022 with the Las Vegas Raiders, the 30-year-old had a career-best 57-690-4 line in 17 games. The Bills will probably be looking to add more help to the receiver room through free agency and the draft, but as of right now, Hollins' fantasy stock in deeper leagues is trending up with the move to Buffalo.
