The Texans serve as a decent matchup, but not good enough to prop Jones up to fantasy relevance. Jones has stayed below 150 passing yards, and besides a rushing touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings, has not produced a single touchdown. Jones playing would be worst-case scenario for fantasy managers, as not only would Lawrence be removed from the fantasy equation, but so would essentially all of his weapons. Even if Jones is a last minute start, he is not worth starting in fantasy lineups in Week 13.

With the Jags on bye in Week 12, the door is open for QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) to make a return against the Texans in Week 13 if he can heal up enough over the week off.
