Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is looking to shake some rust after the Week 10 bye as the Packers match up with their long-time rival Chicago Bears in Week 11. Love has been spotty at best in the past two weeks before their bye with a combined 18.6 fantasy points in matchups against the Jaguars and Lions. Having thrown multiple touchdowns in his first five starts, Love hasn't thrown a touchdown pass in almost a month. Not helping Love here is a tough matchup with Chicago, who represents a team that has allowed the third-fewest touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks and a lockdown cornerback in Jaylon Johnson. For fantasy, Love always has huge upside, but should be considered as a low-end QB or high-end QB2 where you may prefer to start a quarterback with a better matchup.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) was good to go to play in Week 9 after two limited practices and a questionable tag, but he was lackluster in the Packers' 24-14 loss at home to the Detroit Lions. Love was 23-of-39 passing for 273 yards, but did not throw a touchdown pass for the first time this season and threw an interception which led to a return for a touchdown by Kerby Joseph that broke the game open at the end of the first half. While Love was not sacked, he was pressured from the jump by the Lions' defense and fumbled the ball three times, but he didn't turn the ball over on those instances. The Packers get their bye at a great time as Love can rest up during Week 10 before heading to take on their oldest rival, the Chicago Bears, in Week 11. A healthy Love is still in the fantasy QB1 conversation despite Week 9's misstep.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) is officially active for Week 9 against the Detroit Lions. He had been listed as questionable after logging two consecutive limited practices. While Love is going to start, the Packers are expected to be cautious with him, which means they'll monitor his pain levels and performance throughout the duration of Sunday's game. In the event that he can't finish the game, Malik Willis would be next in line at the quarterback position. Between his injury, a tough matchup against the Lions, and some rainy conditions in Green Bay, Love drops to the QB2 tier in fantasy football this week.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) is expected to start in Sunday's game against the Lions. However, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported that the team will monitor the signal-caller throughout the contest. If Love begins to show any signs of discomfort related to the groin strain suffered in Week 8 against the Jaguars, he'll be pulled, opening the door for Malik Willis to take over under center. While fantasy managers were certainly thrilled to hear the news regarding Love's availability in Week 9, he'll remain a risky option, considering he could be pulled at any point during the game.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) is expected to play (and start) in Sunday's NFC North showdown with the Lions. The signal-caller injured his groin in the Week 8 matchup with Jacksonville, ending his day prematurely. While there were reports indicating that the injury wasn't as serious as initially believed, he didn't practice on Wednesday before logging limited sessions on Thursday and Friday. Fortunately, all signs are pointing toward his availability for the pivotal matchup, barring a setback. Without question, Love's anticipated participation in Sunday's contest is great news for fantasy managers. However, he has been mediocre versus Detroit over the years, throwing for 648 yards, five touchdowns, and four interceptions while completing 64.7% of his attempts. Granted, Love is still a must-start, but fantasy managers may not see him at his best, especially since he may have lingering issues related to the injury.
