Week 15 presents a matchup against a Houston Texans defense that excels at stopping opposing running backs. They rank eighth in rushing yards, fourth in fantasy points, and tied for fifth in rushing touchdowns allowed per game. They're also very good at defending running backs in the passing game, ranking fifth in receiving yards allowed per game to running backs. Despite this, he remains a solid RB1 and should continue to see the bulk of the touches in the Miami backfield. His red zone presence makes him an easy start for Week 15. He also added six receptions on seven targets for 45 yards. This is the sixth time in the last seven games that Achane has found the end zone and scored at least 15-plus PPR fantasy points. The touchdown came from two yards out on the opening drive to give Miami an early 7-0 lead. While the rushing totals have not been great recently, he has proven time and time again that he doesn't need the ball a ton to produce. His role is as safe as almost any other back in the NFL, with Miami having no more margin for error for the rest of the season. Next on the schedule is a matchup with the Houston Texans in Week 15.

All the other Dolphins running backs are taking a back seat to Achane instead of being a backfield by committee as it was in 2023. While the rushing numbers weren't impressive, Achane's value in the passing game and red zone usage keep him in the RB1 realm. Week 14 presents a tough matchup against the New York Jets at home.

Both touchdowns came through the air from 11 and nine yards out. Once again, it was a game where Achane scored 20 PPR points. He has done this now four times in his last five outings. The carries and yardage totals suffered from the game script as Miami threw the ball 40 times, the most attempts they've had in the last five games. Achane continues to be involved in the receiving department, ranking second in receptions and third in receiving yards by running backs. Achane and the Dolphins offense look to keep it rolling in Week 13 when they travel to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving night.
