Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton has been unbelievable over the last few weeks, but was finally held in check on Sunday. Otton hauled in five of his eight targets for 35 yards in what ended up being a loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Well, Otton's tremendous run had to end at some point, but at least he was still able to do some damage here. Fantasy managers will have to look elsewhere for help next week with the Bucs on a bye week. After that, wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is expected to make his return to the field. If that happens, Otton could lose some fantasy value heading into the Week 12 matchup against the New York Giants.

Otton has been too great lately, so ride with him until he gives you reason not to trust him.

Otton caught eight of 11 targets for 77 yards and a score on Monday night, now with double-digit targets and at least eight receptions in three straight games. The TD was his fourth of the season but his third in the last two games. The 25-year-old has clearly been the top receiving option in the absence of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and he'll probably need to be again in Week 10 when the Bucs take on the 49ers at home. Jalen McMillan was inactive on Monday with a hamstring injury and should that linger into next week, Tampa will again have to rely on Otton and Co. Despite the tough matchup, the former fourth-round draft pick will be a TE1 again on Sunday.

That being said, Otton could end up seeing a ton of targets with the Bucs limited on options. Fantasy managers should continue to lean on him as a TE1 for Week 9. Otton has been an elite option over the last two games, so fantasy managers should ride the wave.

The young tight end hauled in nine of his 10 targets for 81 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. Otton now has 17 receptions for 181 yards and two scores over his last two games. He'll head into a matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs next week. Fantasy managers can go ahead and consider Otton a TE1 now with the Bucs shorthanded on receiving options.
