He leads the NFL in many receiving categories among tight ends, and is the engine through which the Las Vegas offense runs. The No. 1 overall TE in full-PPR fantasy scoring has had a ridiculous target share since the departure of WR Davante Adams and during the absence of WR Jakobi Meyers (ankle). Bowers should start in all fantasy lineups, and expect more big things from the stellar rookie.

His target volume could remain high even when lead receiver Jakobi Meyers (ankle) returns, and should be better than it was in the early season with Davante Adams was still a part of the team. Las Vegas will square off with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8, but matchups should be ignored when deciding to start or sit Bowers. He must be started.

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers could reclaim his spot as the overall TE1 in fantasy scoring in a matchup with the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. The Rams have allowed the second-most PPR fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends, and they should have trouble slowing down one of the NFL's finest at his position. The rookie leads all tight ends in targets (46), receptions (37), and receiving yards (384). He's also scored one touchdown. He'll likely have an expanded role for the rest of the season after former Raiders WR Davante Adams' departure to the New York Jets. He's a stud and must be started in any leagues that have tight end slots on their rosters.

Bowers notched a season-high targets and converted that into eight catches for 97 yards and a touchdown. Bowers' signature play came early in the first quarter. Quarterback Gardner Minshew II launched a deep pass, and the rookie leaped over a defender to make a catch and ran it 35 more yards into the end zone. He was widely praised for his run-after-catch ability in college, and it looks like that's translating to the NFL perfectly. Bowers has emerged as one of the top tight ends in fantasy in 2024. The Raiders will face a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that's around the league average in fantasy points allowed to tight ends, but Bowers has the talent to succeed against any defense and is a must-start in Week 6.

It was Bowers' worst game of the season despite the absence of lead receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) and fellow tight end Michael Mayer (personal). The Browns have historically held opposing tight ends to low yardage and touchdown totals, and this trend continued Sunday. The Raiders rookie tight end didn't have the worst day ever, considering Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II only completed 14 passes. Bowers will face a tough Denver Broncos defense in Week 5 but is still a must-start tight end because of the lack of depth at the position. Bowers is highly talented, but as it was known before the season, his biggest obstacles are target competition and poor quarterback play.
