Kenneth Gainwell Gains 62 Yards As Fill-In Starter

Philadelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell took seven carries for 62 yards and failed to catch his lone target in Sunday's 10-27 loss to the New York Giants. D'Andre Swift (illness) was ruled out early on Sunday, leaving the 24-year-old as the starter for the final game of the regular season. Gainwell looked good early but was not given the ball much after the team fell behind. The Eagle's offense was in disarray, with all of their top skills players injured either before or during the game, leading to a disappointing performance for everyone involved. Swift should be good to go next week when the Eagles travel to Tampa to take on the Buccaneers, leaving Gainwell off most managers' fantasy radars in DFS and tournaments.

Jalen Hurts Suffers Finger Injury, Exits Early In Blowout Loss

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (finger) completed seven of 16 passes for 55 yards and an interception and added two carries for four yards in the team's 27-10 loss to the New York Giants. The 25-year-old was already without receiver DeVonta Smith (ankle) and running back D'Andre Swift (illness) before losing wideout A.J. Brown (knee) early in this contest. To top it all off, the Giants sent a constant blitz, resulting in Hurts smacking his hand on a linebacker's helmet. On the sideline after the play, his middle finger was bent inward, yet he still went out on the next series and continued to throw. The Eagles pulled him soon after with the game out of reach. Philadelphia's offense is completely lost at the moment and they will have to try and figure it out and move past these injuries next week when they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road.

A.J. Brown Done For Rest Of Week 18

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) won't return to Sunday's game against the New York Giants. The wideout didn't last long before exiting with a knee injury, so he'll finish with one catch for nine yards. Not many can say for sure how severe the injury is. But it's possible the team could be preserving him for the postseason by holding him out, especially since the Eagles likely aren't going to overcome the massive deficit. At any rate, fantasy managers should expect Brown to appear on the injury report ahead of Philly's first postseason contest. However, he'll likely be out there, contingent on the severity of his ailment.

A.J. Brown Injures Knee, Questionable To Return

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee) exited during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the New York Giants and is officially questionable to return. At the time of his departure, he had caught one pass for nine yards and also lost a fumble. The Eagles are still in contention for an NFC East title and would love to get Brown back, but they still need to be cautious ahead of the playoffs. DeVonta Smith (ankle) is already sidelined, so the Eagles will have to rely on tight end Dallas Goedert, Olamide Zaccheaus, Quez Watkins, and Julio Jones in the passing game.

Jauan Jennings, Danny Gray Sidelined For Week 18

San Francisco 49ers wide receivers Jauan Jennings (concussion) and Danny Gray (shoulder) are inactive for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Both players had been listed as questionable. Jennings was limited in all three practices this past week but will ultimately miss his third consecutive game. Meanwhile, Gray has been on injured reserve since August, and while it seemed like there was a chance he could play this week, that won't be the case. Both Jennings and Gray could return for the playoffs, but they would merely occupy depth roles.
