Saquon Barkley Eyes Repeat Performance Against Philadelphia

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley could again take advantage of a suddenly struggling Philadelphia run defense. Two weeks ago, the former Pro Bowl back dashed for 80 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles have been the fifth-worst defense against fantasy football running backs over the last four weeks, despite being one of the best for the majority of the season. This could be the final game for Barkley as a member of the Giants. He'll be a free agent this offseason and it remains to be seen if the team wants to commit to him long-term.

Dallas Goedert A Top-Tier Option In Week 18

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will go on the road to take on the New York Giants in Week 18. The 28-year-old has averaged seven targets per game since returning from a forearm injury and now should see a target bump with No. 2 wide receiver DeVonta Smith (ankle) out for the regular season finale. Goedert has already had a solid game against the Giants this season, catching seven of nine targets for 71 yards against them in Week 16. No other Eagles receiver has stepped up and been a consistent force this season outside of Smith, Goedert, and A.J. Brown, so expect Philadelphia to force-feed their top two options with one now missing. Goedert should be considered a top-five option in Week 18.

A.J. Brown Could Have Ball Forced His Way In Season Finale

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will go on the road to take on the New York Giants in Week 18. Fellow receiver DeVonta Smith (ankle) has already been ruled out for Sunday's game due to an ankle injury that he suffered late in last week's loss to the Cardinals. With little production coming from the likes of Quez Watkins and Julio Jones this season, Brown could be force-fed targets this weekend. Offensive coordinator Brian Johnson already relayed to the press this week that they need to get the 26-year-old more involved, and that should start Sunday with Smith out. Brown gained 80 yards on six receptions back in Week 16 in the two team's first meeting and will aim to clear that line to end the regular season. Consider the fifth-year receiver a top-five option in Week 18.

Kenneth Gainwell Not A Reliable Flex Option In Week 18

Philadelphia Eagles running back Kenneth Gainwell will go on the road to take on the New York Giants in Week 18. Top back D'Andre Swift (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's season finale but will likely be good to go. Gainwell would become the No. 1 back was Swift to miss and become a solid flex option. However, if Swift is active, the 24-year-old backup will not see enough work to be fantasy-relevant. While Gainwell has been more involved on passing downs as of late, he averaged just 6.3 touches per game over the past month. Swift gets the majority of carries, while quarterback Jalen Hurts scores the majority of goal-line touchdowns via the Brotherly Shove. Gainwell will only be a viable flex for those in need if Swift were to miss.

Jalen Hurts Looks To End Season On A High Note

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will go on the road to take on the New York Giants in Week 18. The 25-year-old threw three touchdowns last week in a losing effort to the Arizona Cardinals but will be without No. 2 wide receiver DeVonta Smith (ankle), who was injured toward the end of the game. Even without Smith, Hurts will be a top-tier fantasy option for those playing in redraft leagues and daily, considering the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson are sitting out this weekend. Hurts threw for over 300 yards and tallied two touchdowns two weeks ago in their first meeting against the Giants in Week 16. Consider the Eagles' starting quarterback a top-five fantasy option in the season finale.
