According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill agreed to a restructured contract with the team. The multi-time Pro Bowler has been looking for a new agreement for months, even more so after players like Justin Jefferson and Amon-Ra St. Brown received market-altering deals this offseason. But now Hill will get $90 million over the next three seasons, with $65 million fully guaranteed. He is worth every penny, most recently finishing the 2023-24 campaign by catching 119 balls for 13 touchdowns and a career-high 1,799 yards. Without question, the 30-year-old is expected to remain a top wideout, meaning he'll be taken in the first round in most fantasy drafts heading into the 2024-25 season.

Miami Dolphins tight end coach Jon Embree says that Jonnu Smith and Durham Smythe have a rotation every other day at training camp. The Dolphins signed Smith this offseason as a potential upgrade over Smythe, who failed to carve out a meaningful role in Miami's prolific passing attack behind target hogs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Smith, on the other hand, was quietly productive as the No. 2 tight end behind Kyle Pitts for the Atlanta Falcons a year ago, registering a career-high 50 catches on 69 targets for 582 yards. The 28-year-old also put up the seventh-most yards per target (8.4) and yards per catch (11.6) at the position, so he'll try to beat out veteran wideout Odell Beckham Jr. as star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's No. 3 target as a TE2 option in the closing rounds of 2024 fantasy drafts this summer.

Hill signed a four-year, $120 million contract extension with Miami back during the 2022 offseason, so he won't be an unrestricted free agent until 2027. The Dolphins just inked star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to a long-term extension, however, while Pro Bowl wideout Jaylen Waddle also bagged a three-year, $84.75-million contract extension with the Dolphins this offseason, so Hill wants his next payday as well. The 30-year-old All-Pro is a consensus top-five selection in fantasy drafts this summer, after compiling a league-leading 1,799 receiving yards through 16 games in 2023.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is signing a four-year, $212.4 million contract extension on Friday, according to Athletes First. Tagovailoa and the Dolphins were able to work out a long-term contract extension during the first week of training camp. It makes sense after it was reported earlier on Friday that the 26-year-old former first-rounder was a full participant in training camp on practice. Tagovailoa earned this extension by leading the NFL with 4,624 passing yards in his fourth NFL campaign while also throwing a career-high 29 touchdowns to go along with 14 interceptions in 17 regular-season starts. Fantasy-wise, Tagovailoa has the ability to rack up the aerial yards with elite accuracy and two of the best receivers in the game at his disposal, but the absence of much of a rushing profile, his ceiling will likely be capped as a low-end QB1.

A hold-in from the 26-year-old former first-round signal-caller is out the window now, and it would be a surprise if the two sides don't work something out before the start of the regular season this fall after Tagovailoa put up a career year in 2023. In 17 regular-season starts, Tagovailoa led the NFL with 4,624 yards and added a career-high 29 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He has one of the best one-two punches at receiver in the league, but his floor as a QB1 is lower than some of the other big names at the position because of his lack of rushing statistics.
