Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed will go on the road to take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday. The rookie led the Packers in receiving yards this season and was a late-season fantasy breakout, but failed to catch any of his three targets last week and played only 26 of the 56 offensive snaps. This was likely due to recovering from the chest injury that had given him problems toward the end of the regular season. All of the Packers receivers are healthy heading into the weekend, meaning the target share is going to be spread around even more by quarterback Jordan Love. With that said Reed has been a massive part of the Packers' success over the back half of the season and remains a flex option in DFS formats this weekend.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson will go on the road to take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday. The second-year receiver was limited in practice this week due to a lingering hamstring injury but was left off the final injury report. Last week marked Watson's first game since Week 13, but he caught just one pass for nine yards and played only 41% of the snaps. His role should increase this week as he is another week removed from the injury that cost him the end of the regular season. San Francisco has struggled at times to stop wide receivers this past season and is tied for the ninth-most touchdowns allowed in the position. Watson is an incredibly risky play, but knowing he can have a multi-touchdown game at any time, he could be worth the price as a flex in DFS formats.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love will go on the road to take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs on Saturday. The 25-year-old was steller against the Cowboys last week, putting up 272 yards and three touchdowns against a team that was undefeated at home in 15 straight games. Love now heads into San Francisco to face a defense that has given up the eighth-fewest total fantasy points to quarterbacks this past regular season. Dallas was ranked ninth, so there is no reason that Love can't succeed for fantasy managers looking to take the shot on him in DFS lineups. All of the first-year starters' skill position players are healthy outside of AJ Dillon (neck, thumb), who is listed as questionable. Love will be a popular option in DFS tournaments due to his late-season success.
Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon (neck, thumb) is listed as questionable to play on Saturday in the Divisional Round against the San Francisco 49ers. Dillon actually practiced for the first time on Thursday since suffering a neck stinger in Week 17, but it doesn't mean the 25-year-old will be active as the Packers look to pull off a second straight huge upset, this time over the NFC's top-seeded 49ers. Even if Dillon is active on Saturday, he's most likely to see very few touches behind Aaron Jones, who has now gone over 100 yards rushing in four straight games. If Dillon misses his third straight game, Emanuel Wilson and Patrick Taylor will continue chipping in to spell Jones in Green Bay's backfield. Those playing DFS in the Divisional Round should be looking to avoid Dillon if he's active.
Green Bay Packers wide receivers Christian Watson (hamstring) and Jayden Reed (chest) were both listed as limited in practice for the second straight day this week on Wednesday. Watson missed the final games of the regular season but returned for the wild-card win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and played just 41 percent of the offensive snaps while catching one pass for a nine-yard gain. The 24-year-old should see the field more on Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers, but it's a bad matchup and Green Bay's impressive receiver depth is going to make it difficult for Watson to make a difference for fantasy managers. Reed, meanwhile, played just 26 of 56 snaps against Dallas and didn't catch any of his three targets. The 23-year-old rookie did have 10 total touchdowns in 2023, but he'll be a touchdown-dependent DFS play against San Fran.
