Dustin Hopkins "Unlikely" To Kick On Saturday

Cleveland Browns kicker Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) is unlikely to face the Houston Texans in the AFC wild-card game on Saturday, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. It's bad news for Cleveland in a critical time of the season, but it looks like Riley Patterson will handle the kicking duties. Hopkins was excellent during the regular season, connecting on 33 of his 36 field-goal attempts. He went 8-for-8 on tries of 50-plus yards. Patterson went 15-for-17 for the Detroit Lions this season before being released and signed by the Browns. Hopkins missed the final two games of the regular season with his hamstring injury and also didn't take part in the first practice of the week on Tuesday.

Amari Cooper Sitting Out On Tuesday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (rest/heel) is not practicing on Tuesday heading into the Wild Card matchup with the Houston Texans. The veteran is listed on the injury report with a heel injury, though he's also listed as a veteran rest player. Cooper hasn't played since the Week 16 meeting with Houston when he caught 11 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns. It would be surprising if he sits out the first round of the playoffs, but DFS gamers and playoff fantasy managers should be glued to his practice status throughout the week. Needless to say, he has plenty of upside in his second game against the Texans.

Elijah Moore Plays Six Snaps, Not Targeted In Season Finale

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore was active for the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals despite suffering a concussion in the Thursday night win over the New York Jets in Week 17. However, he was only on the field for six offensive snaps in the 31-14 loss to the Bengals and wasn't targeted at all by quarterback Jeff Driskel. The Browns were locked into the No. 5 seed for the playoffs in the AFC and chose to rest many of their key starters on both offense and defense, so it's really not a huge surprise that Moore wasn't on the field very much. The 23-year-old wasn't nearly as prolific as many expected him to be in his first year in Cleveland, although it was an improvement over his final season with the New York Jets. If Amari Cooper (heel) isn't ready for Saturday's wild-card playoff game against the Houston Texans, Moore could have a big role in Cleveland's passing attack.

Jerry Jeudy Saves His Best For Last

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had his best game of the year in a meaningless 27-14 Week 18 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Although Jeudy only hauled in three of his six targets on the day, he went for 79 yards and caught just his second touchdown of the year on a 24-yard strike from quarterback Jarrett Stidham. Jeudy's six targets were second to only running back Javonte Williams' nine, and Jeudy surprisingly was very productive despite Courtland Sutton returning from a concussion to close out the year. Overall, it was a disappointing year for the former first-rounder, finishing with 54 catches on 86 targets for 758 yards in 16 games. With the Broncos expected to transition away from quarterback Russell Wilson this offseason, Jeudy's best path to more fantasy intrigue in 2024 could be a trade out of Denver.

David Bell Hauls In Two Touchdowns In Week 18

Cleveland Browns wide receiver David Bell caught all four of his targets for 68 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18. With the Browns resting several key starters, including Amari Cooper, Bell operated as the team's main target in the regular-season finale. His touchdown catches both came in the fourth quarter, going for 31 and 24 yards. Bell will return to a reserve role in the Wild Card round of the playoffs against the Houston Texans next weekend, although his Week 18 performance offers a glimmer of hope for his dynasty value heading into the offseason.
