ESPN's Ben Baby reports that Cincinnati Bengals rookie tight end Erick All Jr. (knee) tore the ACL in his right knee, and he'll now miss the remainder of the season. It's a crushing blow for the rookie, as it is the same knee he injured in October 2023. Cincinnati feared that this was the case, and now it is confirmed. The rookie tight end had reportedly earned the trust of quarterback Joe Burrow, but he'll now begin the long road to recovery. In his absence, teammates Mike Gesicki and Tanner Hudson will pick up the slack in the Bengals' tight end room, with the former likely to benefit most from the rookie's absence. Gesicki has come on in recent weeks with wide receiver Tee Higgins (quad) listed as inactive, racking up 12 catches, 173 yards, and two touchdowns over the team's prior two contests.
In a report by ESPN's Ben Baby, he noted that Cincinnati Bengals running back Zack Moss (neck) will be out indefinitely due to his neck injury. Yikes. Per Baby, the team is seeking more information on the 26-year-old's injury this week, but it's not looking good for his availability moving forward. Fellow backfield mate Chase Brown had his best outing of the season in Sunday's 41-24 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, totaling 157 yards and a touchdown on his 32 touches. Brown projects to be the team's lead rusher moving forward, with Trayveon Williams and Kendall Milton mixing in behind him as a change of pace. Brown played on 80% of snaps in the team's Week 9 win and has his outlook on the rise heading into the back half of the season. Cincinnati will square off against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10.UPDATE: Moss was listed as a DNP on Monday's estimated practice report.
The Cincinnati Bengals fear that tight end Erick All Jr. (knee) suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's 41-24 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. All caught both of his targets for 24 yards before exiting the contest in the first half. While nothing has yet been confirmed, this would be a massive blow to the rookie who reportedly earned quarterback Joe Burrow's trust. If what the team fears is true, it will be the second ACL tear to the same knee that the Iowa product injured in October 2023. Tight ends Mike Gesicki and Tanner Hudson figure to see an increase in usage if the fourth-round pick of this year's draft is forced to miss time. He has 18 catches and 134 scoreless yards on 20 targets thus far in 2024.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas had only one catch for 10 yards in Sunday's win over the Raiders. However, his lone catch meant a little more, considering it resulted in a trip to the end zone. Granted, with Tee Higgins (quadriceps) sidelined, fantasy managers were expecting more from Iosivas. Still, as long as Higgins stays on the shelf, including for Thursday's AFC North clash with Baltimore, Iosivas remains in the flex conversation based on his upside alone.
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki had five catches (six targets) for 100 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Raiders. The veteran looked good in the Week 8 loss to the Eagles, amassing seven grabs for 73 yards. Some doubted whether Gesicki could keep it going in Week 9. However, he continues to get it done, so he should remain at least a flex option in Thursday's AFC North showdown with the Ravens, especially if Tee Higgins (quadriceps) remains out.
