Adam Thielen To Undergo MRI On Monday

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) will undergo an MRI on Monday, he told David Newton of ESPN.com. Thielen exited in the second half of Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders after suffering an apparent hamstring injury while making a diving touchdown catch. The veteran flashed a strong rapport with Andy Dalton in their limited time together on Sunday afternoon, catching three passes for 40 yards and the touchdown. Thielen noted that he and the team will know more about his injury after Monday's MRI. If he's cleared to play in Week 4, he'd rank as a solid WR3/FLEX play in an offense that has suddenly shown signs of life with Dalton under center.

Chuba Hubbard Goes Nuclear In Team's First Victory

Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard rushed 21 times for 114 yards in the team's 36-22 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Additionally, he caught all five of his targets for 55 yards and a touchdown. Hubbard looked strong in this one -- gashing the Raiders throughout this contest with a long gain on the ground of just 14 yards. The work in the passing game was excellent, too -- the second week in a row he recorded five targets. It was the second-highest single-game touch total of his career, and he tied a career-high with the five receptions. Carolina's offense ran exceedingly smooth with Andy Dalton under center for the first time in almost exactly a year. The Red Rifle breathed some life into what was one of the league's worst offenses through two weeks, and Hubbard (along with the rest of the Panthers' skill players) has his arrow pointing up ahead of Week 4. Carolina will host the Cincinnati Bengals next Sunday.

Andy Dalton Torches Raiders In Week 3

Carolina Panthers quarterback Andy Dalton completed 26 of 37 passes for 319 yards and tossed three touchdowns in the team's 36-22 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Dalton had the Panthers' offense humming on Sunday, putting together TD drives of 70, 75, 68, and 69 yards. It was an impressive performance from the 36-year-old veteran in his first start since Week 3 of 2023. The Red Rifle was sharp in this one, completing a pass to seven Panthers and ripping impressive throws all over the yard. Carolina had scored just one touchdown in its last four regular season outings dating back to last season, and the team's 36 points were their most since Christmas Eve of 2022 when they scored 37. Carolina's decision to bench second-year starter Bryce Young was a good one, as they recorded their first win in the last six contests. They'll look to get in the left column again when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals at home in Week 4.

Adam Thielen Done For Rest Of Week 3

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's meeting with the Raiders. The veteran was playing well. However, he injured his hamstring after securing a touchdown pass. He'll finish Week 3 by amassing three catches for 40 yards and a score. Xavier Legette, Diontae Johnson, and Tommy Tremble will likely see more looks from Andy Dalton for the remainder of the contest.

Adam Thielen Uncertain To Return On Sunday

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Raiders. The Panthers offense was efficient in the first half, with Andy Dalton throwing for three touchdown passes. Thielen was the recipient of one of them. Although he injured his hamstring while coming down for the 31-yard score. If he doesn't return for the remainder of Week 3, he'll finish with three receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown. At any rate, Xavier Legette, Diontae Johnson, and Tommy Tremble could benefit for the rest of the game.
