Ray-Ray McCloud III, Kyle Juszczyk Active For Week 18

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud III (rib) and fullback Kyle Juszczyk (illness) are active for Week 18 versus the Los Angeles Rams. Both players had been listed as questionable. McCloud was limited in practice all week long, while Juszczyk was a late addition on Saturday. Fantasy managers shouldn't rely on either player this Sunday, though McCloud could sneak onto the fantasy radar if the 49ers limit snaps for Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel.

Riley Patterson Elevated To The Active Roster

Cleveland Browns kicker Riley Patterson has been elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's Week 18 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. Starting kicker Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) hurt his hamstring back in Week 16 against the Texans while chasing down Cameron Johnson, who returned a kickoff for a touchdown. Luckily for Hopkins, the Browns have already clinched a playoff spot so he won't be needed for Sunday's contest against the Bengals. Patterson will fill in for him and the hope is that Hopkins will be ready for the playoffs in a week.

Ross Dwelley Ruled Out For Week 18

San Francisco 49ers tight end Ross Dwelley (ankle) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Dwelley has not seen the field since Week 13 and will be held out of the regular season finale with the Niners having already locked up the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC and a first-round bye for the playoffs. The 28-year-old has just one reception all year for 12 yards on two targets. San Fran is going to rest a lot of players in this meaningless game, so fantasy managers should stay away from tight end George Kittle. Charlie Woerner and Brayden Willis should see most of the action at the position for the 49ers against LA, but neither of them will be recommended DFS dart throws.

Ray-Ray McCloud III, Jauan Jennings Listed As Questionable

San Francisco 49ers wide receivers Ray-Ray McCloud III (rib), Jauan Jennings (concussion) and Danny Gray (shoulder) are all questionable to play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. Both the 49ers and Rams will be rested a lot of their regulars in this meaningless contest, so all three of McCloud, Jennings and Gray could see substantial offensive snaps on Sunday if they are active. The Niners will have to activate McCloud from Injured Reserve if they want him playing this weekend. The 27-year-old hasn't been active since Week 12. McCloud mostly works on special teams. Jennings has missed the last two games and has served as the No. 3 behind Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk for most of the year. Jennings would have the most appeal as a bargain-bin deep DFS sleeper this weekend if he's active, but fantasy managers would probably be wise to avoid San Fran's offense altogether this week.

Rondale Moore Too Risky Of A Start Against The Seahawks

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Rondale Moore's recent performance in the Cardinals' Week 17 victory over the Eagles, where he caught three passes for 26 yards and had two carries for eight yards, adds to a season marked by inconsistency. Despite consistent playing time, with a 60 percent share in 14 of 16 games, Moore has struggled to deliver significant yardage in most outings, with only five games surpassing 40 yards. Since quarterback Kyler Murray's return in Week 10, Moore's contributions have been limited, accumulating just 16 catches on 24 targets, six carries, 216 total yards, and one receiving touchdown in seven contests. Even though Moore and the Cardinal offense take on the Seahawk's defense in Week 18, which has conceded the eighth-most receptions to wide receivers, there's no guarantee of a breakthrough. To that end, fantasy managers should consider sitting Moore and opting for more reliable options to close out the year.
