Cardinals Sign DeeJay Dallas To Three-Year Deal

The Arizona Cardinals signed former Seattle Seahawks running back DeeJay Dallas to a three-year deal worth $8.25 million on Tuesday with upside for the deal to be worth $10.5 million, according to a source. Dallas was taken by Seattle in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft out of the University of Miami in Florida and he ran for 468 yards and four touchdowns on 112 rushing attempts in his four years with the team. The 25-year-old also added 61 catches for 396 yards and another score in 61 games (two starts). He will remain in the NFC West and is currently listed as the team's No. 3 RB on the depth chart behind James Conner and Emari Demercado. Dallas will likely make his biggest impact as a return man on special teams, leaving him no fantasy appeal in most setups.

Greg Dortch Tendered By Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals tendered exclusive rights free-agent wide receiver Greg Dortch on Thursday. Dortch has flown under the radar in recent seasons but has produced quality numbers for the Cardinals when pushed into the starting lineup due to injuries in front of him. The 25-year-old has a chance at beating out Rondale Moore to be Arizona's starting slot receiver in the 2024 season as the Cardinals look to retool their pass-catching corps. Dortch caught 24 balls for 280 yards and two touchdowns last season and could be a deep sleeper in fantasy if he's able to unseat Moore in the upcoming year.

Marvin Harrison Jr. Chooses To Skip Combine

Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has decided to skip the NFL scouting combine altogether this week. Harrison is the consensus top receiver prospect for the upcoming NFL draft. The 21-year-old is also without an agent, and he's not expected to do any testing at Ohio State's pro day in March, either. Barring something drastic happening in the next month, it would be a surprise if Harrison falls outside of the first five picks in this year's NFL draft. His final landing spot in the draft will play a big factor in Harrison's fantasy value in his rookie season, but even if he ends up in a less-than-ideal situation, he should have significant upside and a starting role right away in 2024.

Trey McBride Caps Off Outstanding Season With A Score

In the final chapter of Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride's breakout season, the second-year tight end showcased his prowess with three receptions on six targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-20 loss to the Seahawks. McBride's elevated usage, especially after Zach Ertz's injury in Week 7, turned him into quarterback Kyler Murray's go-to target, culminating in 69 receptions, 655 yards, and three touchdowns over the last 10 games. His performance against Seattle was no exception, as he secured the lone touchdown pass from Murray in the game. As fantasy managers look ahead to 2024, McBride's consistent production and chemistry with Murray make him a promising option in the often scarce tight-end landscape.

Michael Wilson With Career-Best Performance In Season Finale

In the Cardinals' narrow 21-20 loss to the Seahawks, Arizona rookie wide receiver Michael Wilson delivered a career-best performance, securing all six targets for an impressive 95 yards. The 2023 third-round pick showcased his potential, establishing a promising connection with quarterback Kyler Murray. Unlike their previous struggles, where they connected on just seven of 19 passes for 69 yards and one touchdown in four appearances together, Wilson and Murray seemed to find their rhythm in the season finale. As the 2023 season concludes, Wilson heads into the offseason with momentum, looking forward to a potential breakout in the 2024 campaign. His cumulative season stats of 38 receptions, 565 yards, and three touchdowns on 58 targets reflect a healthy 14.9 yards per catch and 9.7 yards per target.
