According to Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee, guard De'Aaron Fox has been playing with a right shoulder injury. Fortunately, the 26-year-old reported the issue is "minor" and hasn't had an MRI because it hasn't been "serious enough." Fox has played exceptionally well this season, averaging a career-high 26.8 points with 5.6 assists and 4.1 rebounds. He's also shot 37.5% from behind the arc. For now, fantasy managers shouldn't worry too much, even though there's a chance the 2017 No. 5 overall pick could miss a few games down the line. If Fox does end up going on the shelf, Keegan Murray would be the guy to benefit the most from a production standpoint.
Sacramento Kings forward Domantas Sabonis (illness) has been upgraded to available ahead of Thursday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. The star forward is ready to go after being listed as questionable heading into this game. Sabonis has been red-hot with five triple-doubles in his last seven games. Fantasy managers better make sure Sabonis isn't on their bench ahead of this contest.
Sacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (shoulder) is not seen on the injury report for Thursday's game versus the San Antonio Spurs. Fox acknowledged on Tuesday that he has been dealing with a right shoulder injury, but he'll continue to play through the issue on Thursday. The Spurs rank dead last against opposing point guards, according to DraftKings scoring, so the 26-year-old star guard is a confident start in all fantasy formats in a soft matchup.
Sacramento Kings forward/center Domantas Sabonis (illness) is doubtful heading into Thursday's meeting with the Spurs. He didn't practice on Wednesday, so most had assumed things were moving in this direction. However, now that he's officially doubtful, fantasy managers should start making alternative arrangements. Nonetheless, De'Aaron Fox should take on more of the scoring load without Sabonis in the mix. But guys like Malik Monk, Keegan Murray, and Harrison Barnes should also benefit offensively.
Sacramento Kings big man Domantas Sabonis (illness) did not practice Wednesday, and his status is in doubt for the team's game on Thursday against the Spurs. The 27-year-old's absence is concerning for his availability on Thursday, and it will be a situation worth monitoring up until game time. If Sabonis can't play, Trey Lyles, JaVale McGee, and Alex Len could potentially see increased minutes. Sabonis is averaging 20.1 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 8.3 assists in 35 minutes per game this season, and his absence would be a huge loss for the Kings.
