Washington Wizards guard Malcolm Brogdon (foot) will remain on the sidelines for a fourth consecutive game on Sunday versus Oklahoma City. The former Sixth Man of the Year is dealing with a plantar fascia contusion in his right foot. Jared Butler has re-entered the rotation with Brogdon out, logging 20-plus minutes in four consecutive contests. He has put in some strong performances, averaging 18.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.3 assists over that span. However, Butler's success might not continue on Sunday, as the Wizards face a team that has by far the league's best defensive rating (103.3).
Washington Wizards guard Malcolm Brogdon (foot) got the start on Sunday with Jordan Poole (hip) out, but the veteran only played 14 minutes before leaving due to a right foot injury. While Poole and several other key contributors are questionable for Tuesday's game, the Wizards have already ruled Brogdon out. If they play through their questionable tags, Bub Carrington (ankle) and Bilal Coulibaly (illness) would pick up some of Brogdon's usage and production. However, if Carrington, Coulibaly, or Poole are also out, there will be more opportunities available for Jared Butler, Kyshawn George, Corey Kispert, and Justin Champagnie.
Washington Wizards guard Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) was back in practice on Tuesday. He's missed four games with a left hamstring strain but appears to be on track to return to action soon. The oft-injured guard has appeared in only nine games this season, averaging 13.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 23.8 minutes. Brogdon has been a regular starter despite seeing limited minutes. Kyshawn George (ankle) and Corey Kispert (ankle) also practiced on Tuesday, so Washington might get much-needed help for Thursday's encounter with Charlotte. Justin Champagnie and Jared Butler will be bumped down the depth chart once the Wizards return to full health.
Washington Wizards guard Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) won't play in Friday's game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. Brogdon began the year on the shelf because of a thumb injury before making his 2024-25 debut against the Pistons on November 17. However, he'll now miss a third-straight game because of hamstring inflammation. The 32-year-old hasn't played the best in his first season in Washington, averaging only 13.8 points, 4.3 assists, and 33.3% shooting from behind the arc. But with the Wizards down Brogdon, Kyle Kuzma (rib), Corey Kispert (ankle), and Kyshawn George (ankle), Justin Champagnie, Jordan Poole, and Jonas Valanciunas may do most of the heavy lifting offensively.
Washington Wizards guard Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Denver Nuggets. The veteran guard had been playing well, recording two double-doubles in his last seven games, so his absence is a setback. He is dealing with inflammation in his left hamstring, and fantasy owners are hoping it's not a long-term issue. With Brogdon sidelined, Carlton Carrington is expected to see an increased role. Brogdon's next opportunity to play will be Sunday against Memphis.
